Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Xanthones from a microfungus of the genus Xylaria
Peter Conrad Healy,Ailsa D. Hocking,Nai Tran-Dinh,John I. Pitt,Roger G. Shivas,Jennifer Mitchell,Michael Kotiw,Rohan A. Davis +7 more
TL;DR: The full spectroscopic characterisation of compounds 1-3 by NMR, UV, IR and MS data is reported, which shows the crystalline compound 2,8-dimethoxy-6-methyl-9-oxo-9H-xanthene-1-carboxylic acid methyl ester was determined by single crystal X-ray analysis.

Structural and spectroscopic properties of a copper(I)-bis(N-heterocyclic)carbene complex.
Kenji Matsumoto,Norimasa Matsumoto,Ayumi Ishii,Toshiaki Tsukuda,Miki Hasegawa,Taro Tsubomura +5 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the dual emission is caused by differences in the contribution of metal-metal interactions at room temperature in the solid state.

Pyridine analogues of the antimetastatic Ru(III) complex NAMI-A targeting non-covalent interactions with albumin.
Michael I. Webb,Ryan A. Chard,Yaser M. Al-Jobory,Michael R. Jones,Edwin W. Y. Wong,Charles J. Walsby +5 more
TL;DR: Electrochemical studies demonstrate relatively high reduction potentials for these complexes, leading to the formation of Ru(II) species in aqueous solutions containing biological reducing agents, such as ascorbate, however, EPR measurements indicate that while noncovalent interactions with hsA do not prevent reduction, covalent binding produces persistent mononuclear Ru(III) species under these conditions.

Stereoselective Polymerization of rac-Lactide Catalyzed by Zinc Complexes with Tetradentate Aminophenolate Ligands in Different Coordination Patterns: Kinetics and Mechanism.
Yang Yang,Haobing Wang,Haiyan Ma +2 more
TL;DR: The coordination pattern of the aminophenolate ligand exerted a significant influence on the stereoselectivity of the corresponding complex toward the polymerization of rac-LA, leading to the production of heterotactic biased polylactides (PLAs) by complexes 1 and 3 and moderately to highly isotactic PLAs by complexes 2 and 4-7.

Organometallic gold(I) and gold(III) complexes containing 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane (TPA): Examples of water-soluble organometallic gold compounds
TL;DR: The organometallic gold(I) complexes [Au(C⋮CCRR‘OH)(TPA)] (R = R‘ = H, Me, Ph and R = Me, R' = Et) as well as the gold(III) complexes trans-[Au (C6F5)2(TPA)2]OTf and [Aus(C6 F5)3(TMA)] (TPA = 1,3,5-triaza-7phosphaadamantane) were prepared and fully
