Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Novel cyano- and amidinobenzothiazole derivatives: synthesis, antitumor evaluation, and X-ray and quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) analysis.

TL;DR: The QSAR modeling indicated the relevance of molecular polarizability and particular distribution of pharmacophores on the molecular surface for activity in benzothiazoles containing either isopropylamidino or imidazolyl groups for activity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Homogeneous green catalysts for olefin oxidation by mono oxovanadium(V) complexes of hydrazone Schiff base ligands

TL;DR: In this paper, three mono oxovanadium(V) complexes of tridentate Schiff base ligands were obtained by monocondensation of 3-hydroxy-2-naphthohydrazide and aromatic o-hydroxaldehydes, and the catalytic potential of these complexes was tested for the oxidation of cyclooctene using H2O2 as the terminal oxidant.

A highly sensitive and selective fluorescent sensor for Al3+ ions based on thiophene-2-carboxylic acid hydrazide Schiff base

TL;DR: An efficient fluorescent receptor (E)-N-[(2-hydroxy-naphthalen-1-yl)methylene]thiophene-2-carbohydrazide (THN) for Al3+ ions was synthesized and characterized by physicochemical and spectroscopic tools along with single crystal X-ray crystallography as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Heptanuclear and decanuclear manganese complexes with the anion of 2-hydroxymethylpyridine.

TL;DR: No hysteresis attributable to single-molecule magnetism behavior, only weak intermolecular interactions are reported of two new clusters.
