Abstract
Computer Program Abstracts The category Computer Program Abstracts provides a rapid means of communicating up-to-date information concerning both new programs or systems and significant updates to existing ones. Following normal submission, a Computer Program Abstract will be reviewed by one or two members of the IUCr Commission on Crystallographic Computing. It should not exceed 500 words in length and should follow the standard format given on page 189 of the June 1985 issue of the Journal [J. Appl. CrysL (1985). 18, 189190] and on the World Wide Web at http://www.iucr. ac. uk/journals/jac/software/. Lists of software presented and~or reviewed in the Journal of Applied Crystallography are available on the World Wide Web at the above address, together with information about the availability of the software where this is known. Spectroscopic characterization, antimicrobial activity, DFT computation and docking studies of sulfonamide Schiff bases

TL;DR: Schiff bases synthesised from the condensation of 2-(hydroxy)naphthaldehyde and sulfonamides (sufathiazole (STZ), sulfapyridine (SPY), sulfadiazine (SDZ) and sulfaguanidine (SGN)) are characterized by different spectroscopic data (FTIR, UV-Vis, Mass, NMR) and two of them, (E)-4-(((2-hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)amino)- N -(thiaz
Journal ArticleDOI

1H and 17O NMR Detection of a Lanthanide-Bound Water Molecule at Ambient Temperatures in Pure Water as Solvent

TL;DR: In pure water, resonances corresponding to a single Eu(3+)-bound water molecule were observed in the (1)H and (17)O NMR spectra of [Eu(4)(H(2)O)](triflate)(3) at 25 degrees C.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of Triborylalkenes from Terminal Alkynes by Iridium‐Catalyzed Tandem CH Borylation and Diboration

TL;DR: A two-step reaction to convert terminal alkynes into triborylalkenes is reported, which does not proceed via intermediacy of hydroboration products or via B2 pin2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enantioselective One‐Pot Synthesis of α‐Amino Esters by a Phosphine‐Catalyzed [3+2]‐Cycloaddition Reaction

TL;DR: The potential of this annulation strategy using chiral phosphine catalysts in asymmetric [3+2]-cycloaddition reactions of electron-deficient allenes and alkynes with α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds was studied more intensively.
Journal ArticleDOI

The ins and outs of proton complexation

TL;DR: This tutorial review highlights a full range of proton complexes formed with chelating and "proton-sponge"-type ligands, cryptand-like macropolycycles, and molecules of topological relevance, such as rotaxanes and catenanes.
