Seasonal human coronavirus antibodies are boosted upon SARS-CoV-2 infection but not associated with protection.

TLDR
In this paper, the authors quantified levels of SARS-CoV-2-reactive antibodies and hCoVreactive antibody in serum samples collected from 431 individuals before the COVID-19 pandemic, and then quantified pre-pandemic antibody levels in serum from a separate cohort of 251 individuals who became PCR-confirmed infected with SARS CoV 2.

Adaptive immunity to SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19.

TL;DR: In this article, a picture has begun to emerge that reveals that CD4+ T cells, CD8+ Tcells, and neutralizing antibodies all contribute to control SARS-CoV-2 in both non-hospitalized and hospitalized cases of COVID-19.
Journal ArticleDOI

The first 12 months of COVID-19: a timeline of immunological insights.

TL;DR: A timeline of the major scientific discoveries during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic showcases the collaborative efforts that enabled the key aspects of the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 to be reported at unprecedented speed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Low-dose mRNA-1273 COVID-19 vaccine generates durable memory enhanced by cross-reactive T cells.

TL;DR: Vaccine-specific CD4+ T cell, CD8+T cell, binding antibody, and neutralizing antibody responses to the 25-μg Moderna messenger RNA (mRNA)-1273 vaccine were examined over the course of 7 months as mentioned in this paper.

SARS-CoV-2-specific T cell immunity in cases of COVID-19 and SARS, and uninfected controls.

TL;DR: Infection with betacoronaviruses induces multi-specific and long-lasting T cell immunity against the structural N protein, and SARS-CoV-2-reactive T cells were found in individuals who had recovered from SARS or COVID-19 and in unexposed donors, although with different patterns of immunoreactivity.
