Solvatochromism of Mono- and Dimolybdenum Coordination Compounds of Dipyridyloctatetraene and Linear Solvation Energy Relationship Models Based on the Kamlet-Taft and Drago Scales of Solvent Polarity.
TL;DR: The heteroleptic molybdenum complexes have been analyzed quantitatively by means of linear solvation energy relationships based on Kamlet-Taft solvatochromism parameters, as well as on Drago's "unified scale of solvent polarity".
Journal Article
Synthesis and dynamic nuclear magnetic resonance studies of pentafluorobenzenethiolate complexes of molybdenum and tungsten. The crystal and molecular structures of [W(SC6F5)3(CO)(η5-C5H5)]•O.5CH2Cl2 and [N(PPh3)2][Mo(SC6F5)4(η5-C5H5)]
TL;DR: In this paper, the reaction between [WBr 3 (CO) 2 (η 5 -C 5 H 5 )] and excess of Tl(SC 6 F 5 ) affords Tl[WBr 2 (CO), η 5 −C 5H 5 )] (2b) as the major product and [W(SC6F 5 ) 3 ( CO), Δ − 5 − C 5 H5 )] (3) as minor product.

Manganese, molybdenum, and tungsten carbonyl derivatives incorporating the dimethylbis(1-pyrazolyl)gallate ligand, [Me2Ga(N2C3H3)2]−
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of a number of six-coordinate manganese, molybdenum, and tungsten carbonyl compounds incorporating both the bidentate bispyrazolyl gallate ligand, [Me2Ga(N2C3H3)2]−, and a neutral pyrazole ligand in a facial coordination arrangement are described.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The paramagnetic 16-electron metal carbonyl derivatives of molybdenum(II) have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, NMR, and magnetic moments as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oxidation and reduction of cis-bis(2,2′-bipyridine)dicarbonylmolybdenum(0) and -tungsten(0). Preparation of bis(2,2′-bipyridine)-dicarbonyl(solvent)molybdenum(II) bis(tetrafluoroborate) salts and their reaction with isocyanides
TL;DR: In this article, the new complexes have been characterised by microanalysis, spectroscopy [i.m.r., mass (fast atom bombardment), electronic absorption], conductivity measurements, and electrochemistry in solution.
Journal ArticleDOI
The synthesis, using hexamethyldialuminium, and reactivity of new (1–5-η-cyclopentadienyl)methyl(nitrosyl)molybdenum complexes. Crystal structure of bromo(η5-cyclopentadienyl)methyl(nitrosyl)(triphenylphosphine)-molybdenum
Bernardo Alegre,Ernesto de Jesús,Amelio Vázquez de Miguel,Pascual Royo,Anna Maria Manotti Lanfredi,Antonio Tiripicchio +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed that under appropriate conditions the reaction of [{MoMe(η5-C5H5)(NO)X}2(µ-X)2][X = Cl (1), Br (2), or I (3)] with Al2Me6, gives the new (probably dimeric) methyl complexes.
