Search for contact interactions in dilepton events from pp collisions at s=7 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +3068 more
- 30 May 2012 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for contact interactions in the dielectron and dimuon channels using data from proton-proton collisions produced by the LHC at, root s = 7 TeV and recorded by the ATLAS was presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the B0→D*-Ds*+ and Ds+→π+ branching fractions

Bernard Aubert, +626 more
- 01 May 2005 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the decay chain is fully reconstructed to measure the branching fraction product {Beta}(B{sup 0} {yields} D*{sup -}D*{sub s}{sup +}) x {Beta(D{subs}{sup+} [ϵ]-ϵ+ ϵ+ϵ] x ϵ ϵ + ϵ ≥ 0.38% where the first uncertainties are statistical and second systematic.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the Triple-Gluon Vertex from 4-Jet Events at LEP

P. Abreu, +555 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used the Nachtmann Reiter angle θNR* and the opening angle of the two least energetic jets to determine the contribution of the triple-gluon vertex.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study of B̄→ΞcΛ̄c- and B̄→Λ c+Λ̄c-K̄ decays at BABAR

Bernard Aubert, +568 more
- 28 Feb 2008 -
Abstract: We report measurements of B-meson decays into two- and three-body final states containing two charmed baryons using a sample of 230 million Y(4S) -> B Bbar decays. We find significant signals in two modes, measuring branching fractions BF(B^- -> \Lambda_c^+ \Lambda_c^- K^-) = (1.14 +- 0.15 +- 0.17 +- 0.60) x 10^{-3} and BF(B^- -> \Xi_c^0 \Lambda_c^-) x BF(\Xi_c^0 -> \Xi^- \pi^+) = (2.08 +- 0.65 +- 0.29 +- 0.54) x 10^{-5}, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and from the branching fraction BF(\Lambda_c^+ -> p K^- \pi^+), respectively. We also set upper limits at the 90% confidence level on two other modes: BF(B0bar -> \Xi_c^+ \Lambda_c^-) x BF(\Xi_c^+ -> \Xi^- \pi^+ \pi^+) \Lambda_c^+ \Lambda_c^- K0bar) \Lambda_c^+ \Lambda_c^- K^-.

A measurement of the ratio of the W and Z cross sections with exactly one associated jet in pp collisions at s=7TeV with ATLAS

Georges Aad, +3016 more
- 28 Feb 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the ratio of production cross sections of W and Z bosons with exactly one associated jet is presented as a function of jet transverse momentum threshold, and the measurement has been designed to ma...
