Mechanisms involved in the functional divergence of duplicated GroEL chaperonins in Myxococcus xanthus DK1622.
Yan Wang,Wen-yan Zhang,Zheng Zhang,Jian Li,Zhi-feng Li,Zaigao Tan,Tian-tian Zhang,Zhi-hong Wu,Hong Liu,Yue-zhong Li +9 more
TL;DR: It is shown that, from the expression levels of different groELs, the distinct functions of groEL1 and groEL2 in predation and development are probably the result of the substrate selectivity of the paralogous GroEL chaperonins, whereas the lethal effect of heat shock due to the deletion ofGroEL1 is caused by a decrease in the total groEL expression level.
Journal ArticleDOI
Underfocus Laser Induced Ni Nanoparticles Embedded Metallic MoN Microrods as Patterned Electrode for Efficient Overall Water Splitting
Yue Chen,Yijie Wang,Jiayuan Yu,Guowei Xiong,Hongsen Niu,Yang Li,Dehui Sun,Xiaoli Zhang,Hong Liu,Weijia Zhou +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an inexpensive electrocatalyst consisting of Ni nanoparticles embedded metallic MoN microrods cultured on roughened nickel sheet (Ni/MoN/rNS) through underfocus laser heating on NiMoO4·xH2O under NH3 atmosphere is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemical Dynamic Thermodynamic Resolution and S/R Interconversion of Unprotected Unnatural Tailor-made α‑Amino Acids
Shuni Wang,Shengbin Zhou,Jiang Wang,Yong Nian,Aki Kawashima,Hiroki Moriwaki,José Luis Aceña,Vadim A. Soloshonok,Vadim A. Soloshonok,Hong Liu +9 more
TL;DR: The method features virtually complete stereochemical outcome, broad substrate generality, and operationally convenient conditions allowing for large-scale preparation of the target α-AAs in enantiomerically pure form.
Journal ArticleDOI
Piezopotential gated two-dimensional InSe field-effect transistor for designing a pressure sensor based on piezotronic effect
Fulei Wang,Jianfeng Jiang,Qilu Liu,Yu Zhang,Jian-Jun Wang,Shuhua Wang,Lin Han,Hong Liu,Hong Liu,Yuanhua Sang +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a piezoelectric pressure sensor constituted by flexible ZnO nanorod (NR) arrays and a 2D indium selenide (InSe)-based field effect transistor (FET) was proposed.
