Inhibitor discovery targeting the intermediate structure of beta-amyloid peptide on the conformational transition pathway: implications in the aggregation mechanism of beta-amyloid peptide.
TL;DR: A new inhibitor that abolishes Abeta fibrillation was discovered using virtual screening in conjunction with thioflavin T fluorescence assay and atomic force microscopy determination and revealed some clues to understanding the molecular events involved in Abeta aggregation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rhodium(III)-Catalyzed Site-Selective C-H Alkylation and Arylation of Pyridones Using Organoboron Reagents.
TL;DR: A method for the pyridine-directed, rhodium-catalyzed, site-selective C-H alkylation and arylation of pyridones using commercially available trifluoroborate reagents with perfect site selectivity is developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Charge Redistribution Caused by S,P Synergistically Active Ru Endows an Ultrahigh Hydrogen Evolution Activity of S-Doped RuP Embedded in N,P,S-Doped Carbon.
Xiaoyu Liu,Fan Liu,Jiayuan Yu,Jiayuan Yu,Guowei Xiong,Lili Zhao,Yuanhua Sang,Shouwei Zuo,Jing Zhang,Hong Liu,Hong Liu,Weijia Zhou +11 more
TL;DR: This work provides a rational method to regulate the bonding and charge distribution of Ru‐based electrocatalysts by reacting macromolecules with multielement of C/N/S/P with Ru.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rutile Nanorod/Anatase Nanowire Junction Array as Both Sensor and Power Supplier for High-Performance, Self-Powered, Wireless UV Photodetector.
Xin Yu,Zhenhuan Zhao,Jian Zhang,Weibo Guo,Jichuan Qiu,Deshuai Li,Zhou Li,Xiaoning Mou,Linlin Li,Aixue Li,Hong Liu,Hong Liu +11 more
TL;DR: Rutile/anatase TiO2 (R/A-TiO2 ) heterostructured nanotree arrays are fabricated by assembling anatase nanowires as branches on rutile nanorods to enable significant advances for next-generation photodetection and photosensing applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Maresin 1 prevents lipopolysaccharide-induced neutrophil survival and accelerates resolution of acute lung injury.
Jie Gong,Hong Liu,Jing Wu,Hong Qi,Zhou-Yang Wu,Huaqing Shu,Hongbin Li,Lin Chen,Yaxin Wang,Bo Li,Min Tang,Yu-dong Ji,Shiying Yuan,Shanglong Yao,You Shang +14 more
TL;DR: MaR1 promotes the resolution of L PS-induced ALI by overcoming LPS-mediated suppression of neutrophil apoptosis by overcoming the proapoptotic action of MaR1.
