TL;DR: In this paper, a graphene-MoS2 hybrid structure based surface plasmon resonance biosensor is presented and the performance parameters of the proposed sensor are defined in terms of sensitivity, detection accuracy and quality factor.
Abstract: In this paper a graphene–MoS2 hybrid structure based surface plasmon resonance biosensor is presented. The performance parameters of the proposed sensor are defined in terms of sensitivity, detection accuracy and quality factor. By the addition of hybrid graphene–MoS2 layer the sensitivity is enhanced but the quality factor and detection accuracy is decreased. Hence to increase the quality factor and detection accuracy a silicon layer is included between metal and MoS2 layer. It is observed that the full width at half maximum of reflectance curve is minimized up to great extent with little decrement in the sensitivity due to the inclusion of silicon layer. Furthermore in this paper, the effect of increasing the number of layers of graphene and MoS2 is also analyzed.

TL;DR: In this paper, a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor based on a hybrid structure with composite layer of TiO2-SiO2 is presented, where the angular interrogation method is used for the analysis of reflected light from the sensor.
Abstract: In this paper, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor based on graphene–MoS2 hybrid structure with composite layer of TiO2–SiO2 is presented. The angular interrogation method is used for the analysis of reflected light from the sensor. For the calculation of the sensitivity, first of all the thicknesses of TiO2, SiO2 and gold layers are optimized for the monolayer graphene and MoS2. Thereafter, at these optimum thicknesses the reflectance curves are plotted for different sensor structure and comparison of change in resonance angle is made among these structures. It is observed that the sensitivity of the graphene–MoS2-based sensor is enhanced by 9.24 % with respect conventional SPR sensor. The sensitivity is further enhanced by including TiO2–SiO2 composite layer between prism base and metal layer and observed that the enhanced sensitivity for this sensor is 12.82 % with respect to conventional SPR sensor and 3.28 % with respect to graphene–MoS2-based SPR sensor. At the end of this paper, the variation of the sensitivity and minimum reflectance is plotted with respect to sensing layer refractive index at the optimum thickness of all the layers and optimum number of MoS2 and graphene layers. It is also observed that four layers of MoS2 and monolayer graphene are best selection for the maximum enhancement of the sensitivity.

TL;DR: An algorithm for image segmentation technique used for automatic detection as well as classification of plant leaf diseases and survey on different diseases classification techniques that can be used for plant leaf disease detection are presented.
Abstract: Agricultural productivity is that thing on which Indian Economy highly depends. This is the one of the reasons that disease detection in plants plays an important role in agriculture field, as having disease in plants are quite natural. If proper care is not taken in this area then it causes serious effects on plants and due to which respective product quality, quantity or productivity is affected. Detection of plant disease through some automatic technique is beneficial as it reduces a large work of monitoring in big farms of crops, and at very early stage itself it detects the symptoms of diseases means when they appear on plant leaves. This paper presents an algorithm for image segmentation technique used for automatic detection as well as classification of plant leaf diseases and survey on different diseases classification techniques that can be used for plant leaf disease detection. Image segmentation, which is an important aspect for disease detection in plant leaf disease, is done by using genetic algorithm.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors address issues related to store attributes and their relevance in the store selection process and make recommendations to retailers in designing their outlets with store attributes that would meet the expectations of shoppers and thus motivate them towards store patronage decisions.
Abstract: The phenomenal growth of retail in India is reflected in the rapid increase in number of supermarkets, departmental stores and hypermarkets in the country. However, this unprecented growth trend has been challenged by the shadow of the current economic slowdown, which has raised a fear of dip in consumption and slowdown of growth for Indian organized retailers. At a time when consumer spending is on decline, success will lie with those retailers that can drive customer loyalty by responding to the demands of the discerning consumer. This study is an attempt to address issues related to store attributes and their relevance in the store selection process. Eleven variables (store attributes) have been identified in this article based on theory and judgment. Factor analysis has yielded three factors: Convenience & Merchandise Mix, Store Atmospherics and Services. The factors identified and recommendations made in the article would be of use to retailers in designing their outlets with store attributes that would meet the expectations of shoppers and thus motivate them towards store patronage decisions.
