Journal ArticleDOI

The use of bone markers in a 6-week study to assess the efficacy of oral clodronate in patients with metastatic bone disease.

TL;DR: Evaluation of least significant changes in markers suggested that the commonly used 1,600 mg dose was most appropriate for breast cancer patients, however, this dose was suboptimal for other patients, who showed better response to 2,400 mg.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the CP-violating phase ϕs in Bs0→J/ψϕ decays in ATLAS at 13 TeV

Georges Aad, +2972 more
TL;DR: A measurement of the Bs0→J/ψϕ decay parameters using 80.5fb-1 of integrated luminosity collected with the ATLAS detector from 13-Te proton-proton collisions at the LHC is presented in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for resonant top quark plus jet production in t(t)over-bar + jets events with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at root s=7 TeV

Georges Aad, +2938 more
- 26 Nov 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a search for a new heavy particle produced in association with a top or antitop quark, in which one of the W bosons from the top quarks decays leptonically and the other decays hadronically.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of prompt photon production in sNN=8.16 TeV p + Pb collisions with ATLAS

Morad Aaboud, +2955 more
- 10 Sep 2019 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the cross-section and nuclear modification factor of isolated, prompt photons in p+Pb collisions at sNN=8.16 TeV are studied with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider using a dataset with an integrated luminosity of 165 nb −1 recorded in 2016.
