Lack of Association between Methionine Synthase A2756G Polymorphism and Digestive System Cancer Risk: Evidence from 39327 Subjects
TL;DR: It is suggested that there is no significant association between the MTR A2756G polymorphism and digestive system cancer risk and marginal significant associations were found for East Asians and hospital-based studies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Genome-wide CNV analysis in mouse induced pluripotent stem cells reveals dosage effect of pluripotent factors on genome integrity.
Yulin Chen,Lin Guo,Jiekai Chen,Xiangjie Zhao,Weichen Zhou,Cheng Zhang,Jiucun Wang,Li Jin,Duanqing Pei,Feng Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: Analysis of genome-wide CNV analyses with mouse iPSC lines generated from the same parental donor suggests sufficient reprogramming force can protect the genome from CNV instability during the reprograming process.
Cas13b Is a Type VI-B CRISPR-Associated RNA-Guided RNase Differentially Regulated by Accessory Proteins Csx27 and Csx28
Sergey Shmakov,Kira S. Makarova,Eugene V. Koonin,Aaron Smargon,David Benjamin Turitz Cox,Neena Pyzocha,Kaijie Zheng,Ian Slaymaker,Jonathan S. Gootenberg,Omar O. Abudayyeh,Patrick Essletzbichler,Feng Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: Two Class 2 CRISPR-Cas systems (subtype VI-B) that lack Cas1 and Cas2 and encompass a single large effector protein, Cas13b, along with one of two previously uncharacterized associated proteins, Csx27 or CsX28 are established.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors reported a strong quasi-periodic oscillation (QPO) of ∼40 Hz in the X-ray burst from the magnetar SGR J1935+2154 and associated with FRB 200428.
Journal ArticleDOI
Association of peripheral immunity with cognition, neuroimaging, and Alzheimer’s pathology
TL;DR: In this paper , the association between peripheral immunity and AD has been investigated, and the associations among peripheral immune markers and cognition, neuroimaging, and AD pathology was explored by using separate regression analyses, which revealed that two types of peripheral immune cells (NEU and LYM) and the ratio of these two cell types (NLR) had associations with cognition.
