Measurement of the top quark mass using charged particles in pp collisions at s√=8 TeV

Khachatryan, +2265 more
- 18 May 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a novel technique for measuring the mass of the top quark that uses only the kinematic properties of its charged decay products is presented, where the main theoretical systematic uncertainties concerning the modeling of the fragmentation and hadronization of b quarks and the reconstruction of secondary vertices from the decays of b hadrons are studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for dark matter produced in association with a leptonically decaying Z boson in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} =$ 13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2410 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for dark matter particles is performed using events with a Z boson candidate and large missing transverse momentum at the LHC in 2016 and 2018, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of electroweak production of a W boson in association with two jets in proton–proton collisions at √s=13Te

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2252 more
TL;DR: Results are presented of electroweak production of a W boson in association with two jets in proton-proton collisions at s = 13 Te, and limits on anomalous trilinear gauge couplings associated with dimension-six operators are given in the framework of an effective field theory.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for third-generation scalar leptoquarks in the tτ channel in proton-proton collisions at √s = 8 TeV

Khachatryan, +2325 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for pair production of third-generation scalar leptoquarks decaying to top quark and τ lepton pairs is presented using proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of s√=8 TeV collected with the CMS detector at the LHC and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 19.7 fb^(−1).
Journal ArticleDOI

Angular analysis of the decay B+ →k+μ+μ- in proton-proton collisions at s =8 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2296 more
- 01 Dec 2018 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the angular distribution of the flavor-changing neutral current decay in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV was studied.
