Nuclear matter effects on J/ψ production in asymmetric Cu+Au collisions at sNN =200 GeV

A. Adare, +407 more
- 18 Dec 2014 -
TL;DR: In this article, the nuclear modification of J/psi yields in asymmetric Cu + Au collisions in the Au-going direction was found to be comparable to that inAu + Au collision when plotted as a function of the number of participating nucleons, which is comparable in magnitude and has the same sign as the difference expected from shadowing effects due to stronger low-x gluon suppression in the larger Au nucleus.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson produced in association with bottom quarks in pp collisions at sqrt(s)=8 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2314 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for a light pseudoscalar Higgs boson (A) produced in association with bottom quarks and decaying into a muon pair is reported, using 19.7 inverse femtobarns of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

J/ψ suppression at forward rapidity in Au + Au collisions at √sNN=39 and 62.4 GeV

A. Adare, +367 more
- 06 Dec 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the J/psi invariant yields in root s(NN) = 39 and 62.4 GeV Au + Au collisions at forward rapidity (1.2 < vertical bar y vertical bar < 2.2).
Journal ArticleDOI

Searches for R-parity-violating supersymmetry in pp collisions at √s=8 TeV in final states with 0–4 leptons

Vardan Khachatryan, +2294 more
- 29 Dec 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of searches for R-parity-violating supersymmetry in events produced in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV at the LHC are presented, and 95% confidence level limits are set on supersymmetric particle masses and production cross sections.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cross section for b b¯ production via dielectrons in d + Au collisions at sNN =200 GeV CROSS SECTION for b b¯ PRODUCTION VIA ⋯ A. ADARE et al.

A. Adare, +389 more
- 26 Jan 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement of e+e− pairs from semileptonic heavy-flavor decays in d+Au collisions at sNN−−−√=200 GeV is reported.
