TL;DR: In this paper, the authors consider the dynamical behavior of a nanomechanical mirror in a high-quality cavity under the action of a coupling laser and a probe laser and demonstrate the existence of the analog of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in the output field at the probe frequency.
Abstract: We consider the dynamical behavior of a nanomechanical mirror in a high-quality cavity under the action of a coupling laser and a probe laser. We demonstrate the existence of the analog of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) in the output field at the probe frequency. Our calculations show explicitly the origin of EIT-like dips as well as the characteristic changes in dispersion from anomalous to normal in the range where EIT dips occur. Remarkably the pump-probe response for the optomechanical system shares all the features of the $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ system as discovered by Harris and collaborators.

TL;DR: In this article, both droplet-and filament-based direct ink writing (DIW) techniques are presented, and various ink designs and their corresponding rheological behavior, ink deposition mechanics, potential shapes and the toolpaths required.
Abstract: The ability to pattern ceramic materials in three dimensions (3D) is critical for structural, functional, and biomedical applications. One facile approach is direct ink writing (DIW), in which 3D structures are built layer-by-layer through the deposition of colloidal- or polymer-based inks. This approach allows one to design and rapidly fabricate ceramic materials in complex 3D shapes without the need for expensive tooling, dies, or lithographic masks. In this feature article, we present both droplet- and filament-based DIW techniques. We focus on the various ink designs and their corresponding rheological behavior, ink deposition mechanics, potential shapes and the toolpaths required, and representative examples of 3D ceramic structures assembled by each technique. The opportunities and challenges associated with DIW are also highlighted.

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed description of the CRM process is provided along with a comprehensive framework intended to aid marketers in their quest to achieve CRM success, which is best conceptualized as an ongoing process that involves the development and leveraging of market intelligence for the purpose of building and maintaining a profit-maximizing portfolio of customer relationships.
Abstract: Prompted – in part – by the highly publicized failure of customer relationship management (CRM) initiatives, academic research on CRM has begun to flourish. While numerous studies have yielded important insights, the extant CRM literature appears to be inconsistent and is highly fragmented due, primarily, to the lack of a common conceptualization. Thus, in order to help advance a cohesive body of knowledge on this topic of growing interest and importance, this paper attempts to provide a clear and accurate delineation of CRM’s domain. Following the review and analysis of process, strategy, philosophy, capability and technology-based CRM perspectives, the authors propose that the phenomenon is best conceptualized as an ongoing process that involves the development and leveraging of market intelligence for the purpose of building and maintaining a profit-maximizing portfolio of customer relationships. Based on the proposed conceptualization, a detailed description of the CRM process is provided along with a comprehensive framework intended to aid marketers in their quest to achieve CRM success.

TL;DR: The authors comprehensively test the Black, Mendenhall, and Oddou (1991) model of the dimensions and determinants of adjustment to international assignments and also expand the model to examine two individual factors (i.e., previous assignments and language fluency) and three positional factors as moderators of adjustment determinants.
Abstract: We comprehensively test the Black, Mendenhall, and Oddou (1991) model of the dimensions and determinants of adjustment to international assignments. We also expand the model to examine two individual factors (i.e., previous assignments and language fluency) and three positional factors (i.e., hierarchical level, functional area, and assignment vector) as moderators of adjustment determinants. Surveys were completed by 452 expatriates from 29 different countries assigned to 45 host countries by large multinational firms. The multi-dimensionality of adjustment was investigated and confirmed. Support for the expanded Black et al. (1991) model was found. Several significant moderating effects emerged, showing different patterns of adjustment for those with different amounts of previous expatriate experience and levels of host country language fluency. Hierarchical level and assignment vector were also important moderators, but the effects for functional area were generally weak.
