TL;DR: Examination of the overall efficacy of music therapy for children and adolescents with psychopathology revealed that music therapy has a medium to large positive effect on clinically relevant outcomes that was statistically highly significant and statistically homogeneous.

TL;DR: Comparisons indicate that more effective therapists are more psychological minded, eschew biological interventions in their ordinary clinical practice, and expect outpatient treatment of depression to take longer than did moderately and less effective therapists.
