Active biomonitoring of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by means of mosses.

TL;DR: Spherical bags packed with peat moss were exposed to ambient air at a distance of 1 km from a plant manufacturing electrodes for the production of aluminium, near Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and it can be concluded that mosses can be applied in active biomonitoring of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in ambient air.

Evaluation of the oral toxicity of acetaldehyde and formaldehyde in a 4-week drinking-water study in rats.

TL;DR: It was concluded that in this study the no-observed-adverse-effect levels of acetaldehyde and formaldehyde were 125 and 25 mg/kg body weight/day, respectively.
