Journal ArticleDOI

Search for gluino mediated bottom- and top-squark production in multijet final states in pp collisions at 8 TeV

S. Chatrchyan, +2225 more
- 01 Oct 2013 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for supersymmetry is presented based on events with large missing transverse energy, no isolated electron or muon, and at least three jets with one or more identified as a bottom-quark jet.
Journal ArticleDOI

Identification techniques for highly boosted W bosons that decay into hadrons

Vardan Khachatryan, +2202 more
TL;DR: In this article, an algorithm is defined to identify single-jet objects that originate from the merging of the decay products of W bosons produced with high transverse momenta from jets initiated by single partons.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for supersymmetry in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV in final states with jets and missing transverse momentum

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2385 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for supersymmetric particles in the final state with multiple jets and large missing transverse momentum was performed using a sample of proton-proton collisions collected with the CMS detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for long-lived neutral particles decaying to quark-antiquark pairs in proton-proton collisions at √s =8TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2145 more
- 20 Jan 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search is performed for long-lived massive neutral particles decaying to quark-antiquark pairs, and upper limits at 95% confidence level are set on the production cross section of a heavy neutral scalar particle, H, in the mass range of 200 to 1000 GeV, decaying promptly into a pair of longlived neutral X particles in the range of 50 to 350 GeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

First measurement of the cross section for top-quark pair production in proton–proton collisions at s = 7 TeV

Vardan Khachatryan, +2158 more
- 17 Jan 2011 -
TL;DR: The first measurement of the cross section for top-quark pair production in pp collisions at the LHC at center-of-mass energy sqrt(s)= 7 TeV has been performed using 3.1 {\pm} 0.3 inverse pb of data recorded by the CMS detector as discussed by the authors.
