Combination of searches for WW, WZ, and ZZ resonances in pp collisions at s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2855 more
- 10 Apr 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of these searches are combined to provide a more stringent test of models predicting heavy resonances with couplings to vector bosons, and upper limits on the rate of production times branching ratio to the WZ bosons are compared with predictions of an extended gauge model with a heavy W' boson.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the tt̄ production cross section in pp̄ collisions at √s = 1.96 TeV using kinematic characteristics of lepton + jets events

V. M. Abazov, +573 more
- 20 Oct 2005 -
TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a measurement of the top quark pair production cross section in collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV using data collected by the DO detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider.
Journal ArticleDOI

$\gamma^{*}\gamma^{*}$ total cross-section in the dipole picture of BFKL dynamics

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived the total γ ∗ ∗ γ − ∗ cross section in the leading order QCD dipole picture of BFKL dynamics, and compared with the one from two-gluon exchange.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of differential $t\bar{t}$ production cross sections in $p\bar{p}$ collisions

V. M. Abazov, +362 more
- 19 Nov 2014 -
TL;DR: In this article, the production of top quark-antiquark pair events in pp collisions at root s = 1.96 TeV is studied as a function of the transverse momentum and absolute value of the rapidity of the top quarks as well as of the invariant mass of the tt pair.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for pair production of second generation scalar leptoquarks

V. M. Abazov, +518 more
- 19 Jan 2009 -
TL;DR: In this article, a search for the pair production of second generation scalar leptoquarks (LQ) in ppbar collisions at the center of mass energy sqrt(s)=1.96 TeV using a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.0 fb-1 collected with the D0 experiment at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider was conducted.
