Combination of CDF and D0 measurements of the $W$ boson helicity in top quark decays

T. Aaltonen, +916 more
- 27 Apr 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report the combination of recent measurements of the helicity of the W boson from top quark decay by the CDF and D0 collaborations, based on data samples corresponding to integrated luminosities of 2.7-5.4 fb(-1) of p (p) over bar collisions collected during Run II of the Fermilab Tevatron collider.

Measurement of the differential cross section $d\sigma/dt$ in elastic $p\bar{p}$ scattering at $\sqrt{s}=1.96$ TeV

V. M. Abazov, +422 more
- 27 Jul 2012 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement of the elastic differential cross section is presented as a function of the four-momentum transfer squared t. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of approximately 31 nb^{-1}$ collected with the D0 detector using dedicated Tevatron $p\bar{p} $ Collider operating conditions at 1.96 TeV and covers the range $0.26 <|t|< 1.2 GeV^2$.

Search for Down-Type Fourth Generation Quarks with the ATLAS Detector in Events with One Lepton and Hadronically Decaying W Bosons

Georges Aad, +3084 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for pair production of heavy down-type quarks decaying via b' → Wt in the lepton + jets channel, as b'(b) over bar'
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for heavy long-lived charged particles with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV

Georges Aad, +3011 more
- 20 Sep 2011 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for long-lived charged particles reaching the muon spectrometer is performed using a data sample of 37 pb(-1) from pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LH...
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for single top-quark production via flavour changing neutral currents at 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2842 more
TL;DR: A search for single top-quarks production via flavour-changing neutral current processes from gluon plus up- or charm-quark initial states in proton–proton collisions at the LHC is presented and an upper limit on the production cross-section multiplied by the t→Wb branching fraction is set.
