Measurement of the W-boson mass in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV with the ATLAS detector (vol 78, 110, 2018)

Morad Aaboud, +2832 more
TL;DR: In this paper, it has been shown that Figure 30 shows the 68% and 99% confidence-level contours for the W boson and top quark mass measurements, instead of the 66% and 95% confidence level contours, as stated in the legend.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of light-by-light scattering and search for axion-like particles with 2.2 nb$^{-1}$ of Pb+Pb data with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2996 more
TL;DR: In this article, a measurement of light-by-light scattering based on Pb+Pb collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment during Run 2 of the LHC is described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for squarks and gluinos in events with jets and missing transverse energy in p over(p, ̄) collisions at sqrt(s) = 1.96 TeV

V. M. Abazov, +592 more
- 06 Jul 2006 -
TL;DR: The results of a search for squarks and gluinos using data from p p ¯ collisions recorded at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV by the DO detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider are reported in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Performance of the missing transverse momentum triggers for the ATLAS detector during Run-2 data taking

Georges Aad, +3015 more
TL;DR: In this article, a study of the trigger performance and comparisons with simulations show that these changes resulted in event selection efficiencies of > 98% for this period, meeting and in some cases exceeding the performance of similar triggers in earlier run periods, while at the same time keeping the necessary bandwidth within acceptable limits.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for bottom-squark pair production with the ATLAS detector in final states containing Higgs bosons, b-jets and missing transverse momentum

Georges Aad, +3005 more
TL;DR: The results of a search for the pair production of the lightest supersymmetric partner of the bottom quark using 139 fb$−1}$ of proton-proton data collected at 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector is reported in this article.
