High Throughput Identification of Novel Conotoxins from the Vermivorous Oak Cone Snail (Conus quercinus) by Transcriptome Sequencing.
TL;DR: Various organs of the vermivorous Oak cone snail have different conotoxins with high diversity, suggesting greater contributions from several organs to the high-throughput discovery of new conotoxin sequences for future drug development.
Journal ArticleDOI
The selective estrogen receptor modulator raloxifene inhibits cardiac delayed rectifier potassium currents and voltage-gated sodium current without QTc interval prolongation
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that raloxifene, despite its inhibitory action on delayed rectifier potassium currents, does not prolong ECG QTc interval, suggesting that rxifene is likely a safe selective estrogen receptor modulator with less cardiac toxicity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Endothelium-dependent and -independent coronary relaxation induced by urocortin.
TL;DR: It is suggested that urocortin‐induced endothelium‐dependent relaxation of rat coronary arteries is primarily mediated by endothelial nitric oxide and subsequent activation of Ba2+‐sensitive K+ channels and appears to be cyclic GMP‐dependent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Theoretical study of ZrCoH3 and the anti-disproportionation ability of alloying elements
Guo Yang,Guo Yang,Wenguan Liu,Jie Tan,Shengwei Wu,Jie Qiu,Hongwei Cheng,Huiqin Yin,Nan Qian,Yu Huang,Xijun Wu,Wei Liu,Yan Li,Yan Li +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the bonding characteristics of the undoped and doped ZrCoH3 and predict the anti-disproportionation abilities of alloying elements (i.e., Y, V, Nb, Ta, Zr, Cr, Mn, Ru, Rh, Pd and Zn).
Journal ArticleDOI
Alterations Of Glycerophospholipid And Fatty Acyl Metabolism In Multiple Brain Regions Of Schizophrenia Microbiota Recipient Mice
Weiwei Liang,Yu Huang,Xunmin Tan,Jing Wu,Jiajia Duan,Hanping Zhang,Bangmin Yin,Yifan Li,Peng Zheng,Hong Wei,Peng Xie +10 more
TL;DR: Investigating how gut microbiota shapes metabolic signatures in multiple brain regions of schizophrenia microbiota recipient mice suggests alterations of glycerophospholipid and fatty acyl metabolism are implicated in the onset of schizophrenia-relevant behaviors, which may provide a new understanding of the etiology of schizophrenia.
