Decrease of VOC emissions from vehicular emissions in Hong Kong from 2003 to 2015 : Results from a tunnel study
Long Cui,Xiaoliang Wang,Kin Fai Ho,Kin Fai Ho,Yuan Gao,Chang Liu,Chang Liu,Steven Sai Hang Ho,Steven Sai Hang Ho,Haiwei Li,Shuncheng Lee,Xinming Wang,Bo Qiong Jiang,Yu Huang,Judith C. Chow,Judith C. Chow,John G. Watson,John G. Watson,Lung-Wen Chen +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of air pollution control measures to reduce vehicular emissions in Hong Kong have been undertaken by repeated measurement in the same roadway tunnel in 2003 and 2015, and the total net concentration of measured VOCs decreased by 44.7% from 2003 to 2015.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microscopic observation of metal-containing particles from Chinese continental outflow observed from a non-industrial site.
Weijun Li,Weijun Li,Tao Wang,Shengzhen Zhou,Shengzhen Zhou,Shuncheng Lee,Yu Huang,Yuan Gao,Wenxing Wang +8 more
TL;DR: The elemental mapping of individual particles reveal that sulfate areas without metal inclusions also contain minor Fe, Mn, or Zn, therefore, the internal mixing of metals and acidic constituents likely solubilize metals and modify metal inclusion shapes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Inhibition of renin/prorenin receptor attenuated mesangial cell proliferation and reduced associated fibrotic factor release
TL;DR: It is indicated that renin/prorenin receptor played a regulatory role in mesangial cells proliferation and extracellular matrix accumulation through knockdown or blockade by handle region peptide (HRP).
Journal ArticleDOI
Tailoring a Three-Phase Microenvironment for High-Performance Oxygen Reduction Reaction in Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells
Zipeng Zhao,Delowar Hossain,Delowar Hossain,Chunchuan Xu,Zijie Lu,Yi-Sheng Liu,S. H. Hsieh,Ilkeun Lee,Wenpei Gao,Jun Yang,Boris V. Merinov,Wang Xue,Zeyan Liu,Jingxuan Zhou,Zhengtang Luo,Xiaoqing Pan,Francisco Zaera,Jinghua Guo,Jinghua Guo,Xiangfeng Duan,William A. Goddard,Yu Huang +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a three-phase microenvironment for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) is proposed, where carbon surface chemistry can be tuned to modulate its interaction with the ionomers and create favorable transport paths for rapid delivery of both reactants and products.
Journal ArticleDOI
Graphene/Au-Enhanced Plastic Clad Silica Fiber Optic Surface Plasmon Resonance Sensor
Wei Wei,Wei Wei,Jinpeng Nong,Jinpeng Nong,Yong Zhu,Guiwen Zhang,Ning Wang,Suqin Luo,Na Chen,Guilian Lan,Chin-Jung Chuang,Chin-Jung Chuang,Yu Huang +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a graphene/Au-enhanced plastic clad silica (PCS) fiber optic surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor is presented, where a sheet of graphene is employed as a sensing layer coated around the Au film on the PCS fiber surface.
