28 Apr 1987TL;DR: In this paper, an anti-rotational joint for connecting sections of conduits together to form a flowline is proposed, where the joint includes a means that prevents the joint from accidentally unscrewing after it is made up to its desired torque.
Abstract: An anti-rotational joint (25) for connecting sections of conduits together to form a flowline (13) or the like wherein the joint (25) includes a means (26) that prevents the joint (25) from accidentally unscrewing after it is made up to its desired torque.

23 May 1990TL;DR: In this paper, a method for removing mercury from a wastestream to produce an environmentally acceptable discharge is presented, in which the was testream is contacted with an effective amount of an adsorbent composition which includes a metal compound capable of forming an amalgam and/or a sulfide with mercury and a support.
Abstract: In a method for removing mercury from a wastestream to produce an environmentally acceptable discharge, the wastestream is contacted with an effective amount of an adsorbent composition which includes a metal compound capable of forming an amalgam and/or a sulfide with mercury and a support. After contact, the treated wastewater is discharged amd the adsorbent composition is regenerated. A method for making the adsorbents is also provided.

03 Mar 1980TL;DR: In this paper, a layer of low density polyethylene bonded to a dissimilar polymer blend consisting of high-density polyethylenes and polyethylen copolymers is described.
Abstract: Laminar thermoplastic film constructions comprising a layer of low density polyethylene bonded to a layer of a dissimilar polymer blend comprising high density polyethylene and polyethylene copolymers. In particular such copolymers comprise polyethylene copolymerized with another alpha olefin containing from about 3 up to about 15 carbon atoms. Such copolymers are also characterized by being linear, low density polymers having densities which are below about 0.94 grams/cc.

28 May 1993TL;DR: In this paper, an ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieve for enhanced shape selective hydrocarbon conversions is described, in which a catalytic mixtures is modified by being exposed to at least two selectivation sequences, each sequence including an impregnation of the mixtures with a selectivating agent and a subsequent calcination of the impregnated mixtures.
Abstract: An ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieve for enhanced shape selective hydrocarbon conversions in which a catalytic molecular sieve is modified by being exposed to at least two selectivation sequences, each sequence including an impregnation of the molecular sieve with a selectivating agent and a subsequent calcination of the impregnated molecular sieve. The ex situ selectivation method is also described, including the use of low volatility organic carriers for the selectivating agent. Also, a method for moderate steaming of the ex situ selectivated molecular sieve. Also a method for in situ trim-selectivating the ex situ selectivated catalytic molecular sieve. Also described is the process for shape selective hydrocarbon conversion comprising contacting a hydrocarbon feedstream under conversion conditions with the modified catalytic molecular sieve.

TL;DR: In this paper, a consistent data base of reaction pathways, kinetics, and mechanisms for catalytic hydrogenation of one-, two-, three-, and four-fused aromatic ring compounds allowed for correlation of their Langmuir-Hinshelwood-Hougen-Watson (LHHW) rate law parameters with molecular structure.
