TL;DR: Effective closed chest compression was significantly better with a ratio of 5/1 than 15/2, suggesting better management of cardiac arrest suggested by an increase in a number of compressions with a ratios of 15/ 2 could be attenuated by cardiac compressions of lesser quality.

27 May 1992TL;DR: In this article, an improved photovoltaic cell and a method for making such cells is provided, which comprises the step of applying a coating of an aluminum metal paste onto the rear surface of the substrate in a suitable rear contact pattern, applying a layer of a glass frit paste so as to envelop the rear contact, and firing those pastes so that to form a rear contact protected by a glass overcoating.
Abstract: An improved photovoltaic cell and a method for making such cells is provided. In a generic sense, the preferred method comprises the step of (1) applying a coating of an aluminum metal paste onto the rear surface of the substrate in a suitable rear contact pattern, (2) applying a layer of a glass frit paste so as to envelop the rear contact, and (3) firing those pastes so as to form a rear contact protected by a glass overcoating. A front contact also is formed by applying a silver metal/glass frit paste onto the anti-reflection coating in a related front contact pattern. The front and rear contacts may be fired simultaneously or in two different steps. However, a single firing method is preferred because thicker aluminum contacts are possible. In a preferred embodiment, the cell provided by the invention includes (1) a silicon substrate having a shallow p-n junction adjacent its front surface, (2) a plurality of silver soldering pads bonded to the rear surface of the substrate, (3) an aluminum contact on the rear surface of the substrate having openings that expose at least portions of said silver pads, (4) a silver contact surrounded by an anti-reflection coating on the front surface of the substrate, and (5) a glass layer overlying the aluminum contact so as to protect it against oxidation and corrosion. The glass layer has windows exposing portions of the soldering pads for solder attachment of connecting wire ribbons.

18 Jan 1982TL;DR: In this article, a zeolite catalyst composition suitable for para-selective conversion of substituted aromatic compounds, e.g., to dialkylbenzene compounds rich in the 1,4-dialkyl benzene isomer, is presented.
Abstract: A zeolite catalyst composition suitable for para-selective conversion of substituted aromatic compounds, e.g., to dialkylbenzene compounds rich in the 1,4-dialkylbenzene isomer. Such a composition comprises a zeolite catalyst having a silica to alumina mole ratio of at least 12 and a constraint index of about 1-12, and a minor amount, e.g., at least at 0.25 weight percent of one or more of the alkali metals (e.g., Li, Na, K, Cs) and optionally phosphorus, said alkali metals and phosphorus being present in the catalyst at least in part in the form of their oxides.

14 Nov 1975TL;DR: In this article, a solar cell assembly comprises a plurality of solar cells mounted on a laminate comprising a base electrically insulative sheet, an electricallyconductive layer disposed on the base sheet in a predetermined pattern so as to provide first and second cell-connecting sections electrically insulated from one another, and a second electrically-insulative sheet having openings and being disposed over the conductive layer so that selected portions of the conductives layer are exposed through the openings.
Abstract: A solar cell assembly comprises a plurality of solar cells mounted on a laminate comprising a base electrically-insulative sheet, an electrically-conductive layer disposed on the base sheet in a predetermined pattern so as to provide first and second cell-connecting sections electrically insulated from one another, and a second electrically-insulative sheet having a plurality of openings and being disposed over the conductive layer so that selected portions of the conductive layer are exposed through the openings. The laminate is provided with a plurality of bent tabs, each of which includes an exposed portion of the first cell-connecting section so that the exposed portion can be attached to the top surface electrode of a solar cell. At least one exposed portion of a second cell-connecting section of the conductive layer is attached to the bottom surface electrode of the same cell. Various circuit patterns of the electrically-conductive layer are described for connecting the cells in a series or parallel array and for use in width-limited systems, such as solar concentrators.
