Abstract: The research work is focused on determining the relative contribution of the subject Research Methodology in the academic performance of students in the Banking and Finance career of Facultad Regional Multidisciplinaria de Carazo (FAREM-Carazo), cohort 2011-2015; for this purpose, statistical models for a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) were applied: Correlation Analysis (ANACORR) and Regression (ANARE), Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). For the purposes of the study, hypotheses are proposed in order to determine the significant effect that Research Methodology could have on the academic performance of Banking and Finance students, as well as the correlation that this subject has with the academic performance of students in this career.

Abstract: El objetivo central de esta investigacion es contribuir a mejorar el proceso ensenanza- aprendizaje de la expresion escrita, y ofrecer al profesorado una vision mas clara del empleo de metodos con enfoque comunicativo que permitan clases activas y participativas, en las cuales se pongan en practica las macrohabilidades del lenguaje, necesarias para una efectiva comunicacion. En ella se analizan los principales problemas de coherencia textual: calidad de la informacion, que presentan los escritos diagnosticos de los estudiantes de primer ano de la carrera de Lengua y Literatura Hispanicas, del curso regular y de profesionalizacion del Departamento de Espanol. Las dificultades detectadas sirvieron como punto de referencia para la elaboracion y ejecucion de un proyecto didactico que incidiera positivamente en la supe-racion de las mismas y de esta manera potenciar los recursos comunicativos y expresivos que garanticen a los estudiantes un eficiente desenvolvimiento academico, profesional y social. Los resultados obtenidos fueron positivos y a partir de los mismos se puede afirmar que es posible mejorar los textos elaborados a traves de la realizacion de escritos consensuados e interesantes, mediante un proceso recursivo que involucre los subprocesos de planificacion, textualizacion, revision y correccion, en los que participen activamente maestros/as y estudiantes y ademas se posibilite el acceso a materiales teoricos, pautas de orientacion, guias de evaluacion y autoevalucion que faciliten el exito de la tarea a realizar.

Abstract: This article aims to elucidate the myths or taboos around Grisis siknis or jungle madness that afflict the population belonging to the native and Afrodescendant peoples of the Nicaraguan Caribbean coast in the particular case of the Mayangna ethnic group inhabitants of the Sauni As territory of the Alal community, Bonanza North Caribbean coast. UNANManagua, as part of its social commitment, became involved in a project working jointly with Chilean filmmakers who are carrying out an investigation into the causes and effects of Grisis siknis, which will allow them to subsequently make a documentary exposing the situation of the inhabitants living together. With this disease. The work collects and consolidates the different activities carried out in the first phase of the project incorporating assessments, comments and the perception of its inhabitants as the main protagonists of this socio-cultural phenomenon. The documentary filmmakers have carried out the first phase of the work that consists in exploring the area, identifying the testimonies and collecting first-hand the manifestations of this condition. The results of this first stage of the study show that this health problema is caused by people who practice black magic or occult sciences, this practice gives them the power to contact and manipulate different spirits that are everywhere, those who later take possession of people is a type of sorcery; from the ancestral worldview of the community in relation to the spiritual world that dwells in the environment, they say that they can cause imbalances in people’s health.
