TL;DR: The algorithm designed is said to be optimal, based on the number of swap's compared to existing techniques like bubble sort, insertion sort, and Selection sort.
Abstract: In Data Structures, sorting is a technique which is used for arranging data in a particular order either ascending or descending. Sorting techniques like Bubble sort, Insertion sort and Selection sort are comparison based. Our proposed technique is a combination of both comparison and counting based techniques. We are finding the exact position of an element and placing it in its corresponding position. A sorting technique is said to be optimal based on its time & space complexity. The algorithm we designed is said to be optimal, based on the number of swap's compared to existing techniques like bubble sort, insertion sort.

TL;DR: This book chapter deals with differential diagnosis in CO VID-19 and current knowledge of the possible therapeutics including herbal- or plant-based agents and plasma therapy for the treatment of COVID-19.
Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has now become a pandemic and major risk to world’s health and economy. COVID-19 is caused by a viral pathogen named as severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). Scientists are working on various possible therapeutic agents to combat COVID-19. Based on the mechanism of SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis, numbers of agents have been proposed for the treatment, but unfortunately, none of them have been approved for treating COVID-19, till date. To combat this pandemic, identification of SARS-CoV-2 patients is paramount, and because its symptoms are similar to the patients of other respiratory infections, differential diagnosis becomes very important. Differential diagnosis distinguishes a particular disease or condition from others that present similar clinical features. This book chapter deals with differential diagnosis in COVID-19 and current knowledge of the possible therapeutics including herbal- or plant-based agents and plasma therapy for the treatment of COVID-19.

TL;DR: The misincorporation properties of exocyclic DNA adduct, cyclic 1,N2-propanoguanine with nucleobases have been investigated using DFT and DFT-D methods and results are in good agreement with the experimental observation.
Abstract: The misincorporation properties of exocyclic DNA adduct, cyclic 1,N2-propanoguanine with nucleobases have been investigated using DFT and DFT-D methods. Number of possible and stable mispairing conformations of cyclic 1,N2-propanoguanine with A,T,G and C have been considered for our investigation. The single point energy calculations have been carried out at the M06/6–311++G**, ωB97XD/6–311++G** and MP2/6–311++G** levels on corresponding optimized geometries. The reaction enthalpy values were employed at the M06/6-31 + G* and ωB97XD/6-31 + G* levels. The energies have been compared among the cyclic 1,N2-propanoguanine adduct with nucleobases to find the most stable conformer. The CPCM model was utilized on account of solvent phase and overall polarizability. The computed binding energies follow the order as CPr-Gua-G(2)(-23.2 kcal/mol) > CPr-Gua-C(1) (−16.1 kcal/mol) > CPr-Gua-A(2)(-10.6 kcal/mol) > CPr-Gua-T(2)(-9.6 kcal/mol) in the gas phase at M06 level, which indicates the guanine and cytosine are favorable for mispairing with the cyclic 1,N2-propanoguanine adduct. The obtained results using computational tools are in good agreement with the experimental observation.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented a simplified power factor correction (PFC) technique for single-stage AC/DC converters using low cost standard PWM control IC's implementation.
Abstract: The control technique presented in this paper -Peak Current Mode Control is a simplified power factor correction (PFC) technique for single stage AC/DC converters, By using low cost standard PWM control IC's implementation becomes easy for this controller. In this paper Integrated buck-fly back converter (IBFC) is a single stage AC/DC converter, operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) to achieve high Power factor with fast output voltage regulation. Comparative analysis of Peak current mode controller to hysteresis current controller for 90–230V input, 48V Output and 200W ac-dc converter operating at 100 kHz is presented and MATLAB/SIMULINK is used for implementation and simulation results show the performance improvement of proposed controller

TL;DR: In this article, the failure loads and deformation of fiber metal laminates are presented in the form of dimensionless parameters, and their variation was studied for width-to-length ratios.
Abstract: Fiber metal laminates (FMLs) are the hybrid composite materials that needed analysis for using them toward applications as rectangular plates subjected to uniformly distributed loads. Determination of first ply failure (FPF) loads is the focus of the present study. These loads are identified by the procedure developed on the basis classical laminate theory (CLT), and Tsai–Hill criterion is used to identify the failure load. The developed procedure was validated by applying it to the standard cases reported in the literature. The failure loads and deformation of FMLs are presented in the form of dimensionless parameters, and their variation was studied for width-to-length ratios. FMLs of GLARE and Ti-CFRP are studied based on their importance to research.
