A Nuclear Long Non-Coding RNA LINC00618 Accelerates Ferroptosis in a Manner Dependent upon Apoptosis.

TLDR
It is shown that the expression of a nuclear long non-coding RNA (lncRNA), LINC00618, is reduced in human leukemia and strongly increased by vincristine (VCR) treatment, and VCR-induced ferroptosis and apoptosis are promoted by LINC0618, and Linc00618 accelerates ferroPTosis in a manner dependent upon apoptosis.

Ferroptosis-Related Long Non-Coding RNA signature predicts the prognosis of Head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors constructed a prognostic multilncRNA signature based on ferroptosis-related differentially expressed lncRNAs in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).

Emerging mechanisms and targeted therapy of ferroptosis in cancer

TL;DR: Ferroptosis is an iron and lipid reactive oxygen species (ROS)-dependent form of programmed cell death that is distinct from other forms of regulatory cell death at morphological, biological, and genetic levels as discussed by the authors.

Identification and Validation of Ferroptosis-Related LncRNA Signatures as a Novel Prognostic Model for Colon Cancer

TL;DR: The proposed 4-FRL signature is a promising biomarker to predict clinical outcomes and therapeutic responses in colon cancer patients and exhibited a more powerful capacity for survival prediction than traditional clinicopathological features in colon patients.

The role of ferroptosis in breast cancer patients: a comprehensive analysis.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors constructed a prognostic multigene signature based on ferroptosis-associated differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and comprehensively analyzed the role of FD-associated miRNAs, lncRNAs and immune responses.

Hypoxia-induced HIF-1α/lncRNA-PMAN inhibits ferroptosis by promoting the cytoplasmic translocation of ELAVL1 in peritoneal dissemination from gastric cancer

TL;DR: In this paper , the effect of hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF-1α) on peritoneal metastasis (PM) distant metastasis was investigated and showed that upregulation of PMAN is associated with poor prognosis and PM in patients with GC.

Ferroptosis as a p53-mediated activity during tumour suppression

TL;DR: It is shown that p53 inhibits cystine uptake and sensitizes cells to ferroptosis, a non-apoptotic form of cell death, by repressing expression of SLC7A11, a key component of the Cystine/glutamate antiporter.

IMAGING INDIVIDUAL mRNA MOLECULES USING MULTIPLE SINGLY LABELED PROBES

TL;DR: In this article, a method for probing a target sequence of messenger ribonucleic acid molecules (mRNA's) in a fixed, permeabilized cell, including at least 30 non- overlapping probe binding regions of 15-100 nucleotides, was proposed.
