In this article, the authors show that 1-Hydroxy-benzotriazol and 1-hydroxy-acetyl carbodiimid-methode eignen sich als Zusatze bei der Dicyclohexylcarbodiimids-Methode zur Synthese von Peptiden, verhindern die N-Acyl-harnstoffbildung and fuhren in hoher Ausbeute.Abstract:

The Classification of Twenty Common Amino Acid Residues in Protected Peptides by Their β-Sheet-Structure-Stabilizing Potentials, SPβ, and Its Application to Peptide Synthesis
TL;DR: A host-guest approach was devised to evaluate the β-sheet-structure-stabilizing potentials, SPβ, of the 20 common amino acid residues in protected peptides whose side-chain functional groups were protected by suitable groups commonly used in peptide synthesis.

Binary synthesis of multicomponent peptide mixtures by the portioning-mixing technique.
TL;DR: By introducing a new operation (non‐coupling), the portioning–mixing method has become suitable for preparing binary peptide libraries and the number of components in such libraries, the molar ratio of peptides as well as the possibilities of screening are discussed.

Aggregation behavior of amphiphiles functionalized with dipeptide segments and enantioselective ester hydrolysis in their bilayer membranes.
TL;DR: The hydrolysis of enantiomeric esters of various hydrophobic nature, which was carried out in the single-walled vesicles, showed relatively small enantioselectivity.

TL;DR: In vitro culture conditions for the production of specific monoclonal antibodies against synthetic peptides were improved and competition experiments with trypsin and human elastase demonstrate that the protease displace the monoconal antibody from the active site of PSTI 0 and PSTI 4 respectively.

Enzymatic synthesis of some O-β-D-digalactosyl glycopeptides, using β-D-galactosidase
TL;DR: Disaccharide-peptide conjugates were obtained in yields of 30–50% from o -nitrophenyl β-d -galactopyranoside by employing β- d -galactsosidase from E. coli as catalyst by exploiting the anomeric carbon of galactose.
