Abstract
1-Hydroxy-benzotriazol sowie verschiedene kernsubstituierte 1-Hydroxy-benzotriazole eignen sich als Zusatze bei der Dicyclohexylcarbodiimid-Methode zur Synthese von Peptiden. Ihr Einflus auf die Racemisierung bei Peptidsynthesen wurde unter Anwendung des gaschromatographischen Racemisierungstests von Weygand u. Mitarbb.2) untersucht. Die neuen Zusatze senken die Racemisierung, verhindern die N-Acyl-harnstoffbildung und fuhren in hoher Ausbeute zu sehr reinen Peptiden.

Exploring new dipeptides based on phenylglycine and Cα-methyl phenylglycine as hosts in inclusion resolutions

TL;DR: In this article, the 3D-structure of a hydrated (alphaMe)Phg dipeptide host was solved by single crystal X-ray diffraction and 12 homo-dipeptides derived from phenylglycine, Phg, and C-alpha-methyl phenyl glycine were synthesized and tested as resolving agents in resolutions through selective crystallization of inclusion compounds.

TL;DR: The synthetic routes were investigated to four kinds of tetrapeptides made up of three usual amino acid residues and one N-carboxymethyl (Cm-) amino acid residue, and the efficiency of peptide bond formation at the imino group of a Cm-amino acid by the acid chloride method was remarkably improved under suitable reaction conditions.
