Methodology to Support Environmentally Aware Product Design Using Axiomatic Design: eAD+

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a design methodology intended for software implementation called eAD+ to address the following four issues: 1) there are inherent couplings between ecofactors and product design parameters, 2) eco-factors are seldom structured for ready use within all phases of the design process, 3) there is a need for a formal feedback mechanism from the results of eco-analysis to the design processes, and 4) it can be difficult to identify which design choice causes the most egregious environmental issue or functional coupling.

Online Customer Integration in New Product Development

TL;DR: A typology of different online customer integration forms, i.e. Lead-Communities, Lead User-Portals, customer exchange forums, and personalized customer portals is developed and it is argued that knowledge about the potential and possible pitfalls of onlineCustomer integration gained during the implementation of such pro-grammes can turn into a competitive advantage.

On Non-Functional Requirements in Software Engineering

TL;DR: This chapter reviews the state of the art on the treatment of non-functional requirements (hereafter, NFRs), while providing some prospects for future directions.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Requirements engineering: a roadmap

TL;DR: An overview of the field of software systems requirements engineering (RE) is presented, describing the main areas of RE practice, and highlights some key open research issues for the future.

Product Development Decisions: A Review of the Literature

TL;DR: This paper looks inside the "black box" of product development at the fundamentaldecisions that are made by intention or default, adopting the perspective ofproduct development as a deliberate business process involving hundreds of decisions, many of which can be usefully supported by knowledge and tools.

Evolving New Dominant Logic for Marketing

S. L. Vargo
- 01 Jan 2004 -
TL;DR: The authors in this article argue that the new perspectives are converging to form a new dominant logic for marketing, one in which service provision rather than goods is fundamental to economic exchange, and explore this evolving logic and the corresponding shift in perspective for marketing scholars, marketing practitioners, and marketing educators.
