Abstract
Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.

Leadership emergence in autonomous work teams: Antecedents and outcomes.

TL;DR: This article investigated personality attributes and cognitive ability as determinants of leadership emergence in teams, and the impact of leadership that can emerge from the team leader and other team members (staff) on team performance.

Antecedents of consumer brand engagement and brand loyalty

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the key drivers and outcomes of consumer brand engagement in the context of Australian mobile phone service providers and found that consumer involvement, consumer participation and self-expressive brand have differing effects on the CBE dimensions (cognitive processing, affection and activation) and brand loyalty.

Experiential and Informational Knowledge, Architectural Marketing Capabilities, and the Adaptive Performance of Export Ventures: A Cross‐National Study

TL;DR: This study indicates that export ventures' organizational-level experiential and informational knowledge, and individual-level Experiential knowledge relevant to the market environment, is positively associated with exported ventures' architectural marketing capabilities, which are in turn associated with the adaptive performance of export ventures.

Greening the service profit chain: the impact of environmental management practices

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the relationship between environmental practices and performance in services and the impact of such practices on the external portion of the service profit chain using structural equation modeling, and found that environmental practices are positively related to performance through the mediating effect of enhanced customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Client-Acceptance Decisions: Simultaneous Effects of Client Business Risk, Audit Risk, Auditor Business Risk, and Risk Adaptation

TL;DR: In this article, a model is developed and tested that characterizes the client-acceptance decisions as a process of risk evaluation and risk adaptation, and the model proposes that auditors will evaluate client-related risks and use that evaluation to determine if the audit firm will suffer a loss on the engagement via a lack of engagement profitability or future litigation.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures

TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
