Abstract
Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.

The Impact of Value Congruence on Consumer-Service Brand Relationships

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed and tested a model that explains how value congruence affects the key components of consumer-brand relationship quality and outcomes, including satisfaction, trust, affective commitment, and loyalty.

How augmented reality apps are accepted by consumers : a comparative analysis using scales and opinions

TL;DR: The overall perception and acceptance toward such interactive technologies are discussed in this paper and the relative importance of hedonic and utilitarian aspects varies for different kinds of AR apps and has to be considered for improvement to occur.

An Integrated Adoption Model of Mobile Cloud Services: Exploration of Key Determinants and Extension of Technology Acceptance Model

TL;DR: This study identifies and investigates a number of cognitive factors that contribute to shaping user perceptions of and attitude toward mobile cloud computing services by integrating these factors with the technology acceptance model.

The Selling Orientation-Customer Orientation (S.O.C.O.) Scale: A Proposed Short Form

TL;DR: In this article, the authors report the results of an examination of the Selling Orientation-Customer Orientation scale to determine if the number of items could be reduced while still maintaining the scale's dimensionality and consistency.

A cross‐national validation of the consumer‐based brand equity scale

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the measurement invariance of the consumer-based brand equity scale across two samples of UK and Spanish consumers, and find that consumers respond to items of brand equity in the same way, which allows meaningful comparison of scores.

Evaluating Structural Equation Models with Unobservable Variables and Measurement Error

TL;DR: In this paper, the statistical tests used in the analysis of structural equation models with unobservable variables and measurement error are examined, and a drawback of the commonly applied chi square test, in additit...

A new look at the statistical model identification

TL;DR: In this article, a new estimate minimum information theoretical criterion estimate (MAICE) is introduced for the purpose of statistical identification, which is free from the ambiguities inherent in the application of conventional hypothesis testing procedure.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures

TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
