Abstract
Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.

Exploratory consumer buying behavior: conceptualization and measurement.

TL;DR: In this article, a two-factor conceptualization of exploratory consumer buying behavior is proposed, in which exploratory acquisition of products is distinguished from exploratory information seeking, and a scale for measuring individual differences in consumers' tendencies to engage in exploratory buying behaviors is developed based on this conceptualization, and the instrument is related to several other constructs and actual exploratory behaviors.

Understanding it adoption decisions in small business: integrating current theories

TL;DR: Using a "combine and conquer" strategy with the theory of planned behavior and the technology acceptance model, results indicate that a "Collected" model representing the underlying categories of cognitions from theTPB and the TAM provided a better fit than either the TAM or the TPB alone.

Customer co-creation of travel services: the role of company support and customer satisfaction with the co-creation performance.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a conceptual model of customer co-creation of tourism services and empirically tested this model in a travel agency context, and found that the degree of cocreation further positively affects customer satisfaction with the service company, customer loyalty, and service expenditures.

Hard times and hurtful partners: how financial strain affects depression and relationship satisfaction of unemployed persons and their spouses

TL;DR: Financial strain had significant effects on depressive symptoms of both partners, which in turn led the partner to withdraw social support and increase social undermining, and reduced supportive and increase undermining behaviors had additional adverse effects on satisfaction with the relationship and on depressive Symptoms.

Antecedents of Commitment and Trust in Customer-Supplier Relationships in High-Technology Markets

TL;DR: In this article, the authors developed a model in which aspects of the product, relationship management activities, and market variables are discerned and taken into account simultaneously as antecedents of trust, commitment, and intention to stay.

Evaluating Structural Equation Models with Unobservable Variables and Measurement Error

TL;DR: In this paper, the statistical tests used in the analysis of structural equation models with unobservable variables and measurement error are examined, and a drawback of the commonly applied chi square test, in additit...

A new look at the statistical model identification

TL;DR: In this article, a new estimate minimum information theoretical criterion estimate (MAICE) is introduced for the purpose of statistical identification, which is free from the ambiguities inherent in the application of conventional hypothesis testing procedure.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures

TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
