Abstract
Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.

Online Social Networks: Why We Disclose

TL;DR: It is found that users are primarily motivated to disclose information because of the convenience of maintaining and developing relationships and platform enjoyment, and users’ perception of risk can be mitigated by their trust in the network provider and availability of control options.

The analysis of antecedents of customer loyalty in the Turkish mobile telecommunication market

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the relationship between corporate image, perceived service quality, trust and customer switching costs, and the relationships among these factors in the Turkish GSM sector, where data was obtained from 1,662 mobile phone users in Turkey via questionnaire.

Consumer satisfaction and perceived quality : complementary or divergent constructs ?

TL;DR: This article applied a theoretical framework to help build a model that attempts to explain the relationships among disconfirmation of expectations, perceived quality, satisfaction, perceived situational control, and behavioral intentions.

Development and validation of an instrument to measure user perceived service quality of information presenting web portals

TL;DR: A five-dimension service quality instrument involving: usability, usefulness of content, adequacy of information, accessibility, and interaction provides a useful instrument for researchers who wish to measure the service quality of Web portals and for portal managers who want to improve their service performance.

How Organizational Complaint Handling Drives Customer Loyalty: An Analysis of the Mechanistic and the Organic Approach

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors address how an organization's complaint management affects customer justice evaluations and, in turn, customer satisfaction and loyalty, and they draw a distinction between two fundamental approaches, the mechanistic approach (based on establishing guidelines) and the organic approach(based on creating a favorable internal environment).

A new look at the statistical model identification

TL;DR: In this article, a new estimate minimum information theoretical criterion estimate (MAICE) is introduced for the purpose of statistical identification, which is free from the ambiguities inherent in the application of conventional hypothesis testing procedure.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures

TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
