Abstract
Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.

The impact of customer experience on brand equity in a business-to-business services setting

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate the impact of customer experience on brand equity in a business-to-business (B2B) services setting and propose a conceptual model to illustrate the impact.

Transformational leadership and market orientation: Implications for the implementation of competitive strategies and business unit performance

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors develop and test an integrated model of the source-positional advantage-firm performance chain, and discuss some implications for competitive strategy theory using a resource- (competency-) based perspective, along with managerial implications.

Relational Communication Traitsand Their Effect on Adaptiveness and Sales Performance

TL;DR: In this article, two relational communication traits, communication apprehension and interaction involvement, are investigated within an adaptive selling framework to assess their impact on salesperson adaptiveness and sales performance, using a sample of 239 insurance salespeople, results demonstrate that salespeople exhibiting lower levels of communication apprehension are more highly involved in communication interactions.

The effects of work overload and work-family conflict on job embeddedness and job performance: the mediation of emotional exhaustion.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed and tested a research model that investigates emotional exhaustion as a mediator of the effects of work overload, work family conflict, and family work conflict on job embeddedness and job performance.

The role of the social-identity function of attitudes in consumer innovativeness and opinion leadership

TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the relationship between the social-identity function, innovativeness, and opinion leadership, in addition to expertise and involvement; the two traditional antecedents of innovation and opinion leader.

Evaluating Structural Equation Models with Unobservable Variables and Measurement Error

TL;DR: In this paper, the statistical tests used in the analysis of structural equation models with unobservable variables and measurement error are examined, and a drawback of the commonly applied chi square test, in additit...

A new look at the statistical model identification

TL;DR: In this article, a new estimate minimum information theoretical criterion estimate (MAICE) is introduced for the purpose of statistical identification, which is free from the ambiguities inherent in the application of conventional hypothesis testing procedure.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures

TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
