Abstract
Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.

Structural Differentiation and Ambidexterity: The Mediating Role of Integration Mechanisms

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors delineate formal and informal senior team integration mechanisms and examine how they mediate the relationship between structural differentiation and ambidexterity, concluding that the previously asserted direct effect of structural differentiation on ambidextrous organizations operates through informal senior teams (i.e., senior team social integration) and formal organizational integration mechanisms (e.g., cross-functional interfaces) integration mechanisms.

The impact of online store environment cues on purchase intention: Trust and perceived risk as a mediator

TL;DR: It is found that the web site brand is a more important cue than web site quality in influencing consumers' trust and perceived risk, and in turn, consumer purchase intention.

The effect of relational constructs on customer referrals and number of services purchased from a multiservice provider: Does age of relationship matter

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the effect of relational constructs (e.g., satisfaction, trust, and affective and calculative commitment) on customer referrals and the number of services purchased, as well as the moderating effect of age of the relationship on these relationships.

An investigation of green hotel customers' decision formation: developing an extended model of the theory of planned behavior.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors extend the theory of planned behavior (TPB) to more comprehensively explain the formation of customers' intention to revisit a green hotel, by incorporating the critical constructs in the consumer behavior and marketing literature (i.e., service quality, customer satisfaction, overall image, and frequency of past behavior).

An empirical investigation of mobile banking adoption: The effect of innovation attributes and knowledge-based trust

TL;DR: The results indicate that perceived relative advantage, ease of use, compatibility, competence and integrity significantly influence attitude, which in turn lead to behavioral intention to adopt (or continue-to-use) mobile banking.

Evaluating Structural Equation Models with Unobservable Variables and Measurement Error

TL;DR: In this paper, the statistical tests used in the analysis of structural equation models with unobservable variables and measurement error are examined, and a drawback of the commonly applied chi square test, in additit...

A new look at the statistical model identification

TL;DR: In this article, a new estimate minimum information theoretical criterion estimate (MAICE) is introduced for the purpose of statistical identification, which is free from the ambiguities inherent in the application of conventional hypothesis testing procedure.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model

TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures

TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
