Criteria for evaluating structural equation models with latent variables are defined, critiqued, and illustrated. An overall program for model evaluation is proposed based upon an interpretation of converging and diverging evidence. Model assessment is considered to be a complex process mixing statistical criteria with philosophical, historical, and theoretical elements. Inevitably the process entails some attempt at a reconcilation between so-called objective and subjective norms.read more

Social media technology usage and customer relationship performance: A capabilities-based examination of social CRM
Kevin J. Trainor,Adam Rapp +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined how social media technology usage and customer-centric management systems contribute to a firm-level capability of social customer relationship management (CRM) and found that these two resources have an interactive effect on the formation of a firmlevel capability that is shown to positively relate to customer relationship performance.

Transfer of Marketing Know-How in International Strategic Alliances: An Empirical Investigation of the Role and Antecedents of Knowledge Ambiguity
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the role of knowledge ambiguity pertaining to the process of knowledge transfer in international strategic alliances based on a cross-sectional sample of 151 multinationals and a structural equation methodology.

An empirical examination of continuance intention of mobile payment services
TL;DR: Drawing on the information systems success model and flow theory, this research identified the factors affecting continuance intention of mobile payment and indicated that servicequality is the main factor affecting trust, whereas system quality is themain factor affecting satisfaction.

Knowledge sharing, absorptive capacity, and innovation capability: an empirical study of Taiwan's knowledge-intensive industries
TL;DR: This study finds that absorptive capacity is the intervening factor between knowledge sharing and innovation capability, and that a completely mediating model exhibits both model generalization and extension characteristics through multiple model comparison in different industry population samples.

Governing buyer–supplier relationships through transactional and relational mechanisms: Evidence from China
Yi Liu,Yadong Luo,Ting Liu +2 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the role of transactional and relational mechanisms in hindering opportunism and improving relationship performance in an emerging economy, and found that transactional mechanisms are more effective in restraining opportunism while relational mechanisms were more powerful in improving the relationship performance.

A new look at the statistical model identification
TL;DR: In this article, a new estimate minimum information theoretical criterion estimate (MAICE) is introduced for the purpose of statistical identification, which is free from the ambiguities inherent in the application of conventional hypothesis testing procedure.

Estimating the Dimension of a Model
TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of selecting one of a number of models of different dimensions is treated by finding its Bayes solution, and evaluating the leading terms of its asymptotic expansion.

Significance tests and goodness of fit in the analysis of covariance structures
TL;DR: In this article, a general null model based on modified independence among variables is proposed to provide an additional reference point for the statistical and scientific evaluation of covariance structure models, and the importance of supplementing statistical evaluation with incremental fit indices associated with the comparison of hierarchical models.
