Journal ArticleDOI

An association between NIDDM and a GAA trinucleotide repeat polymorphism in the X25/frataxin (Friedreich's ataxia) gene.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the X25/frataxin GAA repeat polymorphism is associated with NIDDM in a frequency higher than any other mutation heretofore described.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibition of estrogen-receptor-DNA interaction by intercalating drugs.

TL;DR: It is concluded that the DNA binding of the estrogen receptor cannot be simply interpreted in terms of electrostatic interactions but requires a particular double-helical structure of DNA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Adiponectin is independently associated with insulin sensitivity in women with polycystic ovary syndrome

TL;DR: In this article, the authors identified determinants of circulating adiponectin and its potential for reversing insulin resistance in 62 consecutive women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) who were compared with 35 healthy control women.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the production cross section for single top quarks in association with W bosons in proton-proton collisions at √s=13 TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2376 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement of the associated production of a single top quark and a W boson in proton-proton collisions at root s = 13 TeV by the CMS Collaboration at the CERN LHC is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Running of the top quark mass from proton-proton collisions at s=13TeV

Albert M. Sirunyan, +2304 more
- 10 Apr 2020 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the running of the top quark mass in the modified minimal subtraction renormalization scheme is experimentally investigated for the first time, and the analysis is performed using tt¯ candidate events in the e ± μ ∓ channel in proton-proton collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV recorded by the CMS detector at the CERN LHC in 2016.
