First observation of B̄s0→Ds±K and Measurement of the Ratio of Branching Fractions B(B̄s0→Ds±K)/ B(B̄s0→Ds+π-)

T. Aaltonen, +642 more
TL;DR: A combined mass and particle identification fit is used to make the first observation of the decay B(s)(0) --> D (s)(+/-)K(-/+) and measure the branching fraction of B-s-0 --> D(s)+pi(-)/B-s)(+)pi(-) relative to B( s)(0), which uses 1.2 fb(-1) integrated luminosity of pp collisions at square root(s) = 1.96 TeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for V+A current in top-quark decays in pp̄ collisions at s=1.96TeV

A. Abulencia, +671 more
TL;DR: In this article, an upper bound on the fraction of V + A current, f{sub V+A}, in top quark decays, using approximately 700 pb{sup -1} of p{bar p} collisions at {radical}s = 1.96 TeV acquired by the upgraded Collider Detector at Fermilab.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for nonpointing photons in the diphoton and E-T(miss) final state in root s=7 TeV proton-proton collisions using the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2900 more
- 01 Jul 2013 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for photons originating in the decay of a neutral long-lived particle was performed, exploiting the capabilities of the ATLAS electromagnetic calorimeter to make precise measurements of the flight direction of photons, as well as the calorimeters excellent time resolution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of event shapes in pp̄ collisions at s=1.96TeV

T. Aaltonen, +569 more
- 20 Jun 2011 -
TL;DR: In this article, a study of event shape observables in proton-antiproton collisions at {radical}s = 1.96 TeV is presented, where the transverse thrust and thrust minor, both defined in the plane perpendicular to the beam direction, are measured using energies from unclustered calorimeter cells.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for Higgs boson decays into a pair of pseudoscalar particles in the bbμμ final state with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions at s=13  TeV

Georges Aad, +2846 more
