Performance of the missing transverse momentum triggers for the ATLAS detector during Run-2 data taking

Georges Aad, +3015 more
TL;DR: In this article, a study of the trigger performance and comparisons with simulations show that these changes resulted in event selection efficiencies of > 98% for this period, meeting and in some cases exceeding the performance of similar triggers in earlier run periods, while at the same time keeping the necessary bandwidth within acceptable limits.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for resonant and non-resonant Higgs boson pair production in the ${b\bar{b}\tau^+\tau^-}$ decay channel in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Morad Aaboud, +2920 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for resonant and nonresonant pair production of Higgs bosons in the bb¯τ+τ-final state is presented using 36.1
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for bottom-squark pair production with the ATLAS detector in final states containing Higgs bosons, b-jets and missing transverse momentum

Georges Aad, +3005 more
TL;DR: The results of a search for the pair production of the lightest supersymmetric partner of the bottom quark using 139 fb$−1}$ of proton-proton data collected at 13 TeV by the ATLAS detector is reported in this article.

Technical Proposal: FASERnu

TL;DR: FASERnu as discussed by the authors is a small and inexpensive emulsion detector designed to detect collider neutrinos for the first time and study their properties, with the ability to observe these interactions, reconstruct their energies, and distinguish flavors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for high mass dilepton resonances in pp collisions at √s=7 TeV with the ATLAS experiment

Georges Aad, +3078 more
- 13 Jun 2011 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a search for high mass e(+)e(-) or mu(+)mu(-) resonances in pp collisions at root s = 7 TeV at the LHC is presented.
