Leading particle production in light flavour jets

Giovanni Abbiendi, +332 more
TL;DR: In this article, the energy distribution and type of the particle with the highest momentum in quark jets are determined for each of the five quark flavours making only minimal model assumptions, and the results provide a basis for future studies of light flavour production at other centre-of-mass energies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies of w boson plus jets production in pp ¯ collisions at s √ =1.96 tev

V. M. Abazov, +368 more
- 05 Nov 2013 -
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a comprehensive analysis of W(-> ev) + n-jet (n >= 1, 2, 3, 4) production in proton-antiproton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 1.96 TeV at the Tevatron collider using a 3.7 fb(-1) data set collected by the D0 detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for Pair Production of Doubly Charged Higgs Bosons in the H ++ H -- → μ + μ + μ - μ - Final State

V. M. Abazov, +539 more
TL;DR: In this article, the results of a search for pair production of doubly-charged Higgs bosons via ppbar to H^{++}H^{--}X to mu+mu^+mu+mu-mu^-mu-X at sqrt{s} = 1.96 TeV were reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the Higgs boson decays H → ee and H → eμ in pp collisions at s=13TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2974 more
- 10 Feb 2020 -
TL;DR: Searches for the Higgs boson were performed using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 139 fb(-1) collected with the ATLAS detector in pp collisions as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study Of Double Parton Interactions In Diphoton Plus Dijet Events In P Collisions At Root S = 1.96 Tev

V. M. Abazov, +387 more
- 17 Mar 2016 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a sample of diphoton+dijet events was used to measure the effective cross section of double parton interactions, which characterizes the area containing the interacting partons in proton-antiproton collisions, and find it to be σeff=19.3±1.4(stat)±7.8(syst) mb.
