Analisis keunggulan bersaing melalui penerapan knowledge management dan knowledge-based strategy di surabaya plaza hotel

Abstract: Synergy that exists among available knowledge, capabilities, and resources and is aligned with business strategy has produced competitive advantage. That is why Surabaya Plaza Hotel (SPH) has better performance compared to its competitors. Referring to Knowledge Management Pyramid that was developed by Rosenberg, SPH is now in the level two (Information, Creation, Sharing, and Management). SPH should create Knowledge Management Manager position and increase all existing capabilities and resources to enter into a higher level (level three in Rosenberg concept), that is Enterprise Intelligence. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Perpaduan antara knowledge yang dimiliki, kapabilitas dan resources yang ada, digabungkan dengan strategi bisnis yang dimiliki telah menghasilkan competitive advantage yang menjadikan Surabaya Plaza Hotel (SPH) memiliki performance lebih bagus dibandingkan kompetitornya. Sesuai dengan Knowledge Management Pyramid yang dikembangkan oleh Rosenberg, SPH berada pada level dua yaitu Information, Creation, Sharing, and Management. SPH perlu mengadakan satu jabatan baru yaitu Knowledge Management Manager dan meningkatkan semua kapabilitas dan resources yang ada untuk memasuki tingkat yang tinggi lagi (level tiga dalam konsep Rosenberg) yaitu Entreprise Intelligence. Kata kunci: knowledge management, knowledge strategy, sustainable competitive advantage.

Evaluasi ergonomi dalam perancangan desain

Abstract: It needs a set of works to achieve the best design, such as planning and development of design, from idea discovering, analysis and to be continued by a set of stages : development, concept design, system and detail, prototype making, production process, evaluation or examination product, and finished by distribution stage. The problem solving for good design should recognize the human and their activity, such as size, postures, position in activity, behavior and the manner of human activity. Appraise these matter, it needs ergonomic consideration. Ergonomic is one of the qualification to achieve qualified, certified design and customer need. How far the extent of design fulfills the functional techniques, aesthetics quality and economic, it needs evaluation by using some basic qualifications. Ergonomic is needed for post evaluation product examination. Beside functionality, good design should give safety, health, security and enjoyment for human when they use and operate the product of that design. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Untuk menghasilkan desain yang baik dalam perancangan desain, dibutuhkan serangkaian kegiatan berupa perencanaan maupun pengembangan desain, mulai dari tahap penggalian ide, analisis dilanjutkan dengan tahap pengembangan, konsep perancangan, sistem dan detil, pembuatan prototipe, proses produksi, evaluasi atau pengujian produk, berakhir dengan tahap pendistribusian. Pemecahan masalah untuk menghasilkan desain yang baik juga memperhatikan faktor manusia dan aktivitasnya, seperti ukuran, bentuk tubuh, posisi beraktivitas, perilaku dan kebiasaan manusia beraktivitas, sehingga tercapai produktivitas kerja. Memperhatikan hal itu, dibutuhkan pertimbangan-pertimbangan ergonomi. Ergonomi merupakan salah satu dari persyaratan untuk mencapai desain yang qualified, certified dan customer need. Dan seberapa jauh sebuah desain telah memenuhi aspek teknis fungsional, kualitas estetis dan ekonomis, maka dalam hal ini diperlukan evaluasi yang menggunakan tolok ukur tertentu. Ergonomi diperlukan untuk evaluasi produk. Selain fungsional, desain juga harus mampu memberikan keselamatan, kesehatan, keamanan dan kenyamanan bagi manusia pada saat memakai dan mengoperasionalkan hasil produk desain tersebut. Stackelberg game for two-level supply chain with price markdown option

Abstract: Vendor–retailer collaboration has an important role in supply chain management. Although vendor–retailer collaboration results in better supply chain profit, collaboration is difficult to realize. This is because most vendors and retailers try to optimize their own profit. This paper applies the Stackelberg game with stochastic demand for the vendor–retailer system. The vendor as a leader determines the product price, and the retailer decides order quantity and frequency of price markdown. This study develops example and sensitivity analyses to illustrate the theory. Results show that the price markdown option has a better total supply chain profit than without a price markdown policy, and the vendor receives more benefit. For different demand variances, the retailer profit is more sensitive than the vendor profit.

Pengembangan kawasan industri di indonesia

Abstract: In Indonesia, at the first time industrial estates were developed in 1970's by the government through the state owned company as a reaction to the needs of industrial lands. As the flow of investments was increasing in Indonesia, then in 1989 private companies were allowed to developed industrial estates. In developing industrial estates especially at the pre-construction phase, there are some main phases have to be done such as permits stages, land acquisition, and planning stages. In planning stages, it will discuss the realisation of the given Technical Standard in land use planning, site planning, infrastructures and community facilities planning on several industrial estates in East Java. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Kawasan Industri di Indonesia pertama kali dikembangkan oleh pemerintah melalui BUMN pada tahun 1970-an sebagai reaksi terhadap kebutuhan lahan industri. Dengan semakin meningkatnya arus investasi di Indonesia, baru kemudian pada tahun 1989 pihak swasta diperbolehkan mengembangkan kawasan industri. Dalam pengembangan kawasan industri khususnya pada tahapan pra-konstruksi, terdapat beberapa tahapan utama yang harus dilalui yaitu antara lain tahap perijinan, pembebasan tanah, dan tahap perencanaan. Pada tahap perencanaan akan dibahas tentang penerapan Standar Teknis yang ada dalam perencanaan penggunaan lahan, perencanaan tapak serta perencanaan prasarana dan sarana pada beberapa kawasan industri di Jawa Timur. An algorithm for generating single dimensional fuzzy association rule mining

Abstract: Association rule mining searches for interesting relationship among items in a large data set. Market basket analysis, a typical example of association rule mining, analyzes buying habit of customers by finding association between the different items that customers put in their shopping cart (basket). Apriori algorithm is an influential algorithm for mining frequent itemset for generating association rules. For some reasons, Apriori algorithm is not based on human intuitive. To provide a more human-based concept, this paper proposes an alternative algorithm for generating the association rule by utilizing fuzzy sets in the market basket analysis.
