Abstract: Intense competition in Indonesian beverage industry lead many corporations to spend trillion rupiah on marketing communication, such as advertising and price promotion with the hope of increasing brand equity. However, the question is whether promotional activities in this industry amplify or attenuate the brand equity of a product. Therefore, this paper aims to model the impact of perceived advertising spending and price promotion on brand equity, measured through consumer perceptions, specifically in the case of ABC brand brand. This study includes explanatory research with the samples taken for one of PT XYZ’s flagship products, ABC brand. All of the respondents are Surabaya people, altogether 123 respondents. The sampling method used was simple random sampling. A quantitative approach was employed, using 25-item, 5-point Likert scale questionnaires. Multiple regression analysis methods in SPSS 21 program were used to examine the result. The result has several conclusions. First, perceived advertising spending has significant effect on brand equity and three out of for brand equity dimensions, namely perceived quality, brand awareness and brand loyalty. Second, price promotion also has significant impact on brand equity and three out of four dimensions of brand equity: brand loyalty, perceived quality and brand association. Abstract: A performance can either be enjoyed or not depending on the acoustic system of the room. The quality of the acoustic system can be measured based on an objective parameter that includes background noise, sound pressure level distribution and reveberation time. The measuring result in a case study shows that an auditorium that has problems relating to background noise level has to consider its ventilation system to avoid high background noise levels. It is important to consider the position of outdoor condensers, ducting joints and openings because the resulted low sound frequency can truly be disturbing during performances, especially to the audiences. Observations drawn on the acoustical performance show that some factors in interior design have to be considered such as room shape and dimension, finishing material and its arrangement in interior elements, to avoid uneven sound distribution and reveberation time that exceeding the standard criteria multifungsional auditoriums. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Suatu pertunjukan dapat dinikmati dengan nyaman atau sebaliknya, sangat tergantung pada kualitas akustik ruang. Kinerja akustik ruang auditorium dapat dinilai berdasarkan parameter objektif yang meliputi bising latar belakang (background noise), distribusi tingkat tekanan bunyi dan respon impuls ruang terutama waktu dengung (reverberation time). Hasil pengukuran terhadap sebuah studi kasus menunjukkan bahwa auditorium yang mempunyai masalah pada tingkat bising latar belakang (background noise level) perlu memperhatikan desain ventilasi untuk menghindari tingkat gangguan bising yang berlebihan. Perhatian juga harus ditujukan pada peletakan outdoor (condensing) AC, sambungan ducting, dan bukaan, karena bunyi frekuensi rendah yang dihasilkan sangat mengganggu selama kegiatan berlangsung, utamanya bagi area penonton. Selanjutnya, untuk menghindari distribusi suara yang tidak merata dan waktu dengung (reverberation time) yang melebihi kriteria yang disyaratkan bagi auditorium multifungsi, maka analisis kinerja akustik menunjukkan beberapa faktor interior yang perlu mendapat perhatian seperti bentuk dan dimensi ruang, serta bahan finishing dan desain peletakannya pada elemen interior. Kata kunci: parameter akustik ruang, tingkat bising latar belakang, distribusi tingkat tekanan bunyi, waktu dengung.

Abstract: Peneltian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh related party transction terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan dan tanpa menggunakan variabel kontrol. Variabel related party transaction diukur dengan sales of related party transaction (SRPT), purchase of related party transaction (PRPT), account receivable of related party transaction (ARRPT), dan account payable of related party transaction (APRPT). Variabel kontrol terdiri dari ukuran perusahaan dan corporate governance, sedangkan variabel dependen adalah nilai perusahaan yang diukur dengan menggunakan Tobin's Q. Sampel penelitian adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada periode penelitian 2010-2017. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 42 perusahaan untuk dijadikan sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode regresi data panel. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan SRPT, PRPT, ARRPT, APRPT tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan tanpa dan dengan menggunakan variabel kontrol.
