TL;DR: In this article, an early study which attempts to trace the existence of Chinese carpentry in those ancient mosques of Java was carried out, and the early shapes of ancient mosques in Java during the 15th - 16th centuries are very interesting.
Abstract: The early shapes of ancient mosques in Java during the 15th - 16th centuries are very interesting. Many theories suggest that those shapes originated from the culture of Hinduist-Javanese or Javanese in general. Very few articles are there studying the important role of Chinese carpentry in the development of those mosques of Java, especially those in the northern coast of Java. To name a few, they are the Demak mosque (1474), the Kudus mosque (1537), and the Mantingan mosque (1559) near by Jepara. They physically show the traces of Chinese carpentry and stone masonry. This article is an early study which attempts to trace the existence of Chinese carpentry in those ancient mosques of Java. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Bentuk awal mesjid kuno di Jawa (abad 15-16), sangat menarik.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the effects of corporate governance, ownership structure, and cash on hand on firm value on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange and found that the effect of ownership structure had no significant effect on the firm value when the leverage, firm size, firm age and dividend payment were used as controlling variables.
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of corporate governance, ownership structure, and cash on hand on Firm Value on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The dependent used in this study was the firm value whereas the independent used in this study were the corporate governance, ownership structure, and cash on hand. This study used these following measurement methods: Tobin’s Q used to measure the firm value; board size, independent director, and audit quality were used to measure the corporate governance, proportion of managerial ownership was used to measure the ownership structure, and natural logarithm of year-end cash was used to measure the cash on hand. This study also used the leverage, firm size, firm age, and dividend payment as controlling variables. The sample of this study consisted of 74 manufacturing firms obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange from year 2014 to 2017. The technique used for this analysis was the multiple regression. The result of this study suggested that the cash on hand had negative and significant effects on firm value when the leverage, firm size, firm age, and dividend payment were used as controlling variables. On the other hand, this study also suggested that the corporate governance and managerial ownership had no significant effect on the firm value when the leverage, firm size, firm age, and dividend payment were used as controlling variables.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors reflect on this phenomenon in the geopolitical context of the economic rise of China and its promotion of soft power, as well as the market forces that reward Mandarin competency in contemporary Indonesia.
Abstract: The fall of Suharto in 1998 opened up a new space for the public articulation of Chinese identity in Indonesia. Since the decrees that lifted the ban on Chinese language, Mandarin classes have had an unprecedented boom. This paper reflects on this phenomenon in the geopolitical context of the economic rise of China and its promotion of soft power, as well as the market forces that reward Mandarin competency in contemporary Indonesia.

TL;DR: In this article, a curved triangular shell element is developed and applied to analyze general shell structures based on degenerated 3D elasticity theory, and the results show that the K-shell can produce very accurate displacements and internal displacements.
Abstract: Originated from the element-free Galerkin method with moving Kriging interpolation [1], an enhancement of the finite element method using Kriging shape functions (KFEM) was developed and applied to solve 1D and 2D elastostatic problems [2]. The KKEM preserves the advantages of mesh-free methods as follows: (1) high order shape functions can be easily constructed, (2) field functions and their derivatives can be obtained with remarkable accuracy and global smoothness. A distinctive advantage of the K-FEM is that it inherits the computational procedure of the conventional FEM so that existing general-purpose FE programs can be easily extended to accommodate this new concept. The method has been improved and developed for analyses of ReissnerMindlin plates [3]. A drawback of the K-FEM is that its interpolation function is not continuous (incompatible) along inter-element boundaries. The effect of the incompatibility on the convergence has been recently studied [4]. It was found that the K-FEM with appropriate choice of correlation function passes the weak patch test and therefore the convergence is guaranteed. In the present study, the K-FEM is developed and applied to analyze general shell structures. The governing equations are derived based on degenerated 3D elasticity theory. Kriging shape functions are constructed using a set of nodes encompassing several layers of triangular elements. The shape functions are used to approximate both the displacement and geometry. In approximating the geometry, the parameterization of the shell mid-surface is performed element-by-element by mapping curved triangular elements onto flat planes passing through the element nodes. Shear and membrane lockings are alleviated by using high order polynomial basis, i.e. cubic or higher order basis. The developed curved triangular shell element is named K-Shell. Several shell benchmark problems are solved to test and compare the accuracy and convergence of the K-Shell. One of the problems is the well-known Scordelis-Lo roof (Figure 1). The resulting averaged membrane force and bending moment along the central section are shown in Figure 2 together with their respective reference solutions. The results show that the K-Shell can produce very accurate displacements and internal

Abstract: This paper proposes a hybridized concept of search engine based on subject parameter of High Accuracy Retrieval from Documents (HARD). Tf-Idf and Jaccard's Coefficient are modified and extended to providing the concept. Several illustrative examples are given including their steps of calculations in order to clearly understand the proposed concept and formulas. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Paper ini memperkenalkan suatu algorima search engine berdasarkan konsep HARD (High Accuracy Retrieval from Documents) dengan menggabungkan penggunaan metoda TF-IDF (Term Frequency Inverse Document Frequency) dan Jaccard's Coefficient.
