Problema anomali dalam initial public offering (ipo)

Abstract: This study on Initial Public Offerings (IPO) showed that IPO stocks on average were underpriced, underperformed in the long run aftermarket and the Hot and Cold market cycle was present. These phenomenom can be explained by among others, the following: Asymetric Information, Winner's Curse, Traditional-Ibbotson, and Signalling Equilibrium Phenomenom. However, all of these can't give a satisfactory explanation because they were based on the price which existed on the secondary market (Underpriced Theory). The Withdrawn IPO (WIPO) theory tried to explain the IPO anomaly differently so that the IPO anomaly could be explained clearly. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Studi tentang Penawaran Saham Perdana (IPO) menunjukkan saham-saham IPO secara rata-rata mengalami Underpriced, kinerja jangka panjang yang jelek dan adanya siklus pasar "Hot" dan "Cold". Ada beberapa penjelasan terhadap fenomena tersebut, antara lain: Informasi Asimetri, WinnerCurse, Tradisional-Ibbotson, Signaling Equilibrium Phenomenom tetapi semuanya belum memuaskan karena berdasarkan pada basis harga yang ada di pasar sekunder (Teori Underpriced). Teori Withdrawn IPO (WIPO) mencoba menjelaskan fenomena anomali IPO dengan cara yang berbeda sehingga fenomena anomali IPO dapat dijelaskan secara tuntas. The Effect of Procedure Change, TQM and ERP Implementation to Company Performance on Manufacturing Industries

Abstract: The initial changes in standard procedures made by manufacturing companies when implementing ISO 9000: 2008 system (SNI/ National Indonesia Standard) are establishing procedures related to the system in each department of the companies. These changes are related to the standard operating procedures, work instructions, and forms. The second stage of changes happens during the implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) in which the companies have to integrate various departments into one integrated data system. These processes of changes in the companies are called business process redesign or reengineering (BPR). The changes are conducted by making adjustments to all procedures in the companies so that they can fit in applying ERP modules. Good adjustments will increase the employment performance for manufacturing companies. The data are collected from 100 questionnaires distributed to the manufacturing companies in East Java, and can further analyzed from 77 questionnaires with 77% response rate. Data processing is performed by using structural equation modeling of PLS and finds that BPR does not provide a direct improvement to the implementation of ERP in the companies. The changes to the standard procedure of the company, or BPR, give an impact of 0.422 to the implementation of ISO 9001. The implementation of ISO 9001 brings an impact of 0.763 on the implementation of ERP. The implementation of ISO 9001 does not affect the company performance, but the implementation of ISO gives a significant impact to the companys performance of 0.664. The changes in standard procedures performed in the company, often called BPR, can improve the companys performance by 0.2138, obtained through the implementation of ISO 9001 and the implementation of ERP.

Social Media Advertising and Consumer Perception on Purchase Intention

Abstract: In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, many companies are using social medias as one of their promotional tools, especially Instagram. The aim of this research is to investigate the influence of Instagram advertising and consumer perception on purchase intention in local building material stores. As this research is using a quantitative approach, the data are collected using questionnaires. The population of this research is the customers who have done several purchases and have followed the stores’ Instagram accounts. Out of the whole population, a number 100 respondents are selected through a purposive sampling technique. The collected data are processed using a SmartPLS program, with the results of no significant influence between Instagram advertising and purchase intention. However, the Instagram advertising has a significant influence on purchase intention through customer perception as the Instagram advertising has a significant influence on customer perception. Therefore, customer perception acts as the intervening variable in this research.

Kampung warna warni berperilaku hidup sehat dan bersih

Abstract: Di era modern ini dalam menciptakan hidup sehat sangatlah mudah dan murah, bila dibandingkan dengan biaya yang harus dikeluarkan untuk pengobatan saat mengalami gangguan kesehatan karena cukup mahal. Hidup sehat merupakan hal yang harus diterapkan oleh setiap orang karena banyak memiliki manfaat yang disadari maupun tidak disadari, mulai dari konsentrasi kerja, kesehatan dan kecerdasan anak sampai dengan keharmonisan keluarga. Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) adalah semua perilaku kesehatan yang dilakukan atas dasar kesadaran sehingga anggota keluarga atau keluarga dapat menolong dirinya sendiri di bidang kesehatan dan dapat berperan aktif dalam kegiatan-kegiatan kesehatan di masyarakat. Akan tetapi, di era modern ini masih banyak daerah atau kampung yang tidak menerapkan PHBS. Banyak kampung-kampung yang masih tidak memiliki WC sendiri sehingga menggunakan WC umum yang kotor dan tidak terawat, tidak memiliki tempat cuci tangan, dan tidak memiliki tempat pembuangan sampah tertutup di setiap rumah. Hal-hal inilah yang meyebabkan penyakit seperti malaria, demam berdarah, diare, dsb. Kejadian ini bisa diatasi dengan kesadaran warga tersebut ingin hidup sehat, dan bisa dimulai dari hal-hal kecil. Hal kecil tersebut adalah dengan membuat kampung daerah tempat tinggalnya menjadi kampung warna warni agar warga yang tinggal di kampung tersebut merasa nyaman dengan tempat tinggal mereka, sehingga bisa menimbulkan kesadaran warga dalam menjaga kebersihan dan hidup sehat di kampung mereka. Dengan membuat kampung warna warni tersebut, bertujuan untuk memperlihatkan bahwa warga siap menerapkan PHBS di lingkungan tempat tinggal mereka. Kegiatan ini terlihat sederhana, tetapi dampak yang didapat dari kegiatan ini sangatlah besar bagi kesehatan warga kampung yang tinggal di daerah tersebut.
