Abstract: In hospitality industry, customer loyalty is the measurement of the success of service industry. Customer will be more satisfy when we can fulfill their need more than what he expected. It’s depended to staff’s sincerity when they give the service. Also happened at Laundry 5Asec Surabaya that point the measurement of success of services to guests from guest comment. Customer loyalty that want to be got by laundry 5Asec Surabaya can be measured by distributing quesionaires which are filled by the customer. All the questions are connected with service quality of laundry 5Asec Surabaya from customer loyalty perception. The answers will be counted to find the number of customer loyalty. By knowing the connection of service quality and customer loyalty, laundry 5Asec Surabaya can understand the customer perception to sevice quality better and make the precise strategies for improving the workmanship in the future to get customer loyalty.

Abstract: This research has an aim of examining the influence of emotional responses towards the impulsive buying behavior tendency from the online consumers, as a result of direct advertisement's stimulus. Online Stimulus advertisement is formatted through a kind of audio-visual media format, picture animation, and picture text. The main purpose of this research is focused on the format shape of online medium, however, as a compare, brochures are usually used as one of offline mediums. The format of research use factorial experimental design with the online and offline medium as the factor. Besides, to evaluate indirect impacts of emotional response to the impulsive buying behavior tendency, it has used resources expenditure, recreation and convenience shopping oriented which are intervening variables. The results of this research shows that there are different of stimulus impacts between offline and online medium formats. It has been found that the format of online medium has stronger stimulus effect than the offline one. Although, online format medium has stronger stimulus total effect, but still the format of audio visual medium and text of picture has stronger effect than the form of picture animation. The other finding, The resources expenditures has a positive intervening between emotional responses towards recreation shopping oriented but has negative intervening towards convenience shopping oriented. This can be clearly seen on the format of audio visual and picture animation medium. The result of the same analysis has proven that convenience shopping oriented is a positive intervening between emotional response and impulsive buying behavior tendency but recreation shopping oriented has negative impact. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Penelitian bertujuan untuk menguji dampak respon emosi terhadap kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif konsumen online. Respon emosi dan kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif ditimbulkan karena stimulus dari iklan online. Format media iklan online diformat dalam bentuk audio-visual, animasi gambar, dan teks gambar. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini, lebih difokuskan pada format media online, namun digunakan media offline brosur sebagai pembanding stimulus media. Penelitian diformat dalam rancangan percobaan faktorial dengan menggunakan format media online dan offline sebagai faktor. Untuk menguji dampak tidak langsung respon emosi terhadap kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif, digunakan sumberdaya yang dikeluarkan dan orientasi belanja konsumen sebagai mediasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengaruh stimulus antara format media offline dengan media online terhadap respon emosi dan kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif. Ditemukan bahwa stimulus dari format media online memberikan dampak respon emosi dan kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif yang lebih kuat. Dalam kelompok format media online ditemukan juga bahwa bentuk format audio-visual dan teks gambar mempunyai stimulus yang tidak berbeda secara statistik dan lebih kuat dibandingkan format animasi gambar. Hasil temuan lainya. menunjukan bahwa respon emosi mempunyai dampak positip secara langsung terhadap kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif. Selain itu sumberdaya yang dikeluarkan dapat merupakan mediasi positip antara respon emosi dengan orientasi belanja rekreasi, dan negatip untuk orientasi belanja kenyamanan. Orientasi belanja kenyamanan merupakan mediasi positip antara sumberdaya yang dikeluarkan dengan kecenderungan perilaku pembelian impulsif, sedangkan orientasi belanja rekreasi merupakan mediasi negatip. Abstract: This paper is based on an error analysis of the written work of the English Department students who have finished the seventh semester of a four-year undergraduate English Program The source of the data consists of seventeen proposals for linguistics researches, as the final projects upon the completion of the undergraduate study year 2001 in Petra Christian University The purpose of the study is to reveal the grammatical errors and to find out the types of errors and their frequency of occurrence in the students' written work The errors collected are identified and classified using Linguistic Category Taxonomy as a guideline To describe the errors, Surface Strategy Taxonomy is employed to explain the ways surface structures are altered The findings present the types of morphological and syntactic errors, their detailed description, and the frequency of occurrence of each error type It is hoped that this study will give a new perspective in the advanced learners' grammatical errors, and provide data for teachers and syllabus designers dealing with English Grammar

Abstract: This study seeks to examine the existence of Granger-causality among stock prices indices and macroeconomic variables in five ASEAN countries, Indonesia; Malaysia; the Philippines; Singapore; and Thailand with particular attention to the 1997 Asian financial crisis and period onwards. Using monthly time series data of the countries, a Granger-causality test based on the vector autoregressive (VAR) analytical framework was employed to empirically reveal the causality among the variables. This research finds that there were few Granger causalities found between the country's wtock price index and macroeconomic variables. This indicates that the linkages between domestic stock price movements and macroeconomic factors were very. Due to that, the ASEAN stock markets were crelatively unable to efficiently capture changes in economic fundamentals during the observation period in most of the countries in accordance to the literature in emerging stock markets, and that the influence of specific macroeconomic factors on the domestic economies differ across countries. This also implies that the stock markets do not seem to have played a significant role in most countries' economies, and macroeconomic variables are unlikely to be appropriate indicators to predict not only the future behaviour of other macroeconomic variables, but also that of the stock market price indices. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Makalah ini mencoba untuk menganalisis keberadaan Granger-causality antara indeks harga saham dan variabel-variabel ekonomi makro di lima negara ASEAN, yaitu Indonesia; Malaysia; Filipina; Singapore; dan Thailand yang berfokus pada periode terjadinya krisis keuangan Asia pada tahun 1997 dan sesudahnya. Dengan mempergunakan data time series bulanan dari setiap negara tersebut, tes Granger-causality yang didasarkan pada kerangka analisa VAR (vector autoregressive) diaplikasikan untuk mengungkap secara empiris hubungan kausal antar variabel. Dari hasil tes diketahui bahwa hanya terdapat sejumlah kecil Granger-causality antara indeks harga saham dan variabel-variabel ekonomi makro. Hal ini mengindikasikan sangat lemahnya kaitan antara pergerakan indeks harga saham di dalam negeri dengan variabel-variabel ekonomi makro dikarenakan bahwa pasar modal di negara-negara ASEAN relatif tidak mampu secara efisien menangkap informasi perubahan besaran-besaran ekonomi makro domestik. Dan, bahwa pengaruh dari variabel-variabel ekonomi makro tertentu dalam perekonomian domestik ternyata berbeda di tiap negara. Hal tersebut mengimplikasikan bahwa bursa saham ASEAN nampaknya tidak berperan penting dalam perekonomian domestik, dan bahwa variabel-variabel ekonomi makro negara-negara tersebut nampaknya tidak dapat dipakai sebagai indikator yang baik untuk memprediksikan bukan saja terhadap perilaku variabel-variabel ekonomi makro lainnya, tetapi juga perilaku indeks harga saham di masa yang akan datang. Abstract: Behaviors coordination is one of keypoints in behavior based robotics. Subsumption architecture and motor schema are example of their methods. In order to study their characteristics, experiments in physical robot are needed to be done. It can be concluded from experiment result that the first method gives quick, robust but non smooth response . Meanwhile the latter gives slower but smoother response and it is tending to reach target faster. Learning behavior improve robot’s performance in handling uncertainty. Q learning is popular reinforcement learning method that has been used in robot learning because it is simple, convergent and off policy. The learning rate of Q affects robot’s performance in learning phase. Q learning algorithm is implemented in subsumption architecture of physical robot. As the result, robot succeeds to do autonomous navigation task although it has some limitations in relation with sensor placement and characteristic.
