TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors used two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and LC-MS/MS to identify an ICE-associated secreted protein - dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLDH).
Abstract: Vibrio parahaemolyticus uses bacterial secretion systems and integrative and conjugative elements (ICEs) to induce various diseases and to adapt to harsh environments, respectively. Information pertaining to the identity of secreted proteins and functional characterization of ICEs has been previously reported, but the relationship between these elements remains unclear. Herein we investigated secreted proteins of V. parahaemolyticus strains JHY20 and JHY20△ICE using two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and LC-MS/MS, which led to the identification of an ICE-associated secreted protein - dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLDH). Considering the data related to its physical and biochemical characterization, we predicted that DLDH is a novel immunogenic protein and associated with virulence in JHY20. Our findings indicate a potential relationship between ICE-associated transport and secreted proteins and shed light on the function of such transport mechanisms. We believe that our data should enhance our understanding of mobile genetic elements.

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of inorganic situ doping of Na-MMT on the phase morphology, thermal properties and mechanical properties of DAPA nylon copolymers were investigated.
Abstract: The effects of the inorganic situ doping of Na-MMT on the phase morphology, thermal properties and mechanical properties of DAPA nylon copolymers were investigated. The results show that addition of Na-MMT promoted the formation of the γ crystal phase and increased the crystal content of them caused by heterogeneous nucleation effect of stripped Na-MMT layer structure. It greatly increased tensile properties and flexural properties of DAPA/Na-MMT nanocomposite. Therefore, the tensile and flexural strength as well as flexural modulus achieved 15.4, 9.84, 192.3 MPa, while elongation and IZOD notched impact strength decreased. The decomposition reaction process of DAPA/Na-MMT nanocomposite was still one-step, and the maximum endothermic peak of the decomposition process of DAPA/Na-MMT nanocomposite shifted to high temperature region.

TL;DR: In this paper, the non-isospectral Ablowitz-Ladik hierarchy is integrated by the inverse scattering transform and the multi-soliton solution for the hierarchy is presented.
Abstract: The non-isospectral Ablowitz–Ladik hierarchy is integrated by the inverse scattering transform. In contrast with the isospectral Ablowitz–Ladik hierarchy, the eigenvalues of the non-isospectral Ablowitz–Ladik equations in the scattering data are time-dependent. The multi-soliton solution for the hierarchy is presented. The reductions to the non-isospectral discrete NLS hierarchy and the non-isospectral discrete mKdV hierarchy and their solutions are considered.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered the two-phase fluid composed of fine geologic particles and water is considered to be a non-Newtonian fluid, and the seepage dynamics model of the two phase medium in the rock-soil structure is constructed.
Abstract: In this paper, the two-phase fluid composed of fine geologic particles and water is considered to be a non-Newtonian fluid, and the seepage dynamics model of the two-phase medium in the rock-soil structure is constructed. Based on the hypothesis, the boundary conditions and solving methods of the model are given and the critical conditions of the model instability are also discussed in detail. It is shown that the existence of the equilibrium state of the kinetic model is determined by the power exponent, the effective fluidity and the non-Darcian flow factor.
