TL;DR: In this paper, a model for the formation of intermetallic phases in the modified nickel ions in the surface layer of aluminum was presented, which is a special case of the known problem.
Abstract: This paper presents a model for the formation of intermetallic phases in the modified nickel ions in the surface layer of aluminum. It is shown that the absorption of ions in the bulk of the qualitative difference between the models with and without the relaxation of the mass flux is reduced to a difference in the characteristic scales. It was shown that the concentration distribution depends on the relation between time scales of various physical processes. We have extended the existing model to a unique simple model describing the formation of a new phase at the initial stage of ion implantation. The parameters containing in the model were evaluated using literature data. The known problem is a special case for our model.

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of hyperbranched polymers (HBPs) consisting of a 2,7-subsituted 9-(heptadecan-9-yl)-9H-carbazole unit (A2+A2’) and a tetra-substituted green thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) dye of 2,3,5,6-tetra(9H)-carbazol-9yl)-4-pyridinecarbonitrile (4CzCNPy, B4)
Abstract: A series of novel hyperbranched polymers (HBPs) consisting of a 2,7-subsituted 9-(heptadecan-9-yl)-9H-carbazole unit (A2+A2’) and a tetra-substituted green thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) dye of 2,3,5,6-tetra(9H-carbazol-9-yl)-4-pyridinecarbonitrile (4CzCNPy, B4) have been synthesized via Suzuki cross-coupling reaction following an “A2+A2’+B4” method. The polymers are named according to the polymerization ratio of 4CzCNPy monomer (5 mol%, 10 mol% and 15 mol% for HBPs of P2−P4 respectively, and 0 mol% for the control linear polymer P1). Their thermal, optoelectronic and electrochemical properties have been characterized by a combination of techniques. All the polymers exhibit high thermal stability with the decomposition temperatures (Td) above 400 °C and glass transition temperatures (Tg) up to 98 °C. Unfortunately, the incorporation of TADF moiety into these HBP materials induced non-TADF characteristics. However, when the HBPs functionalized as the host for our previously developed 4CzCNPy TADF dopant in solution processed devices, maximum external quantum efficiency of 5.7% and current efficiency of 17.9 cd/A have been achieved in P3-based device, which is significantly higher than those of 1.5% and 4.2 cd/A for the linear polymer P1.

TL;DR: Experimental results based on the MMIFID indicate that the presented method outperforms the existing image fusion quality evaluation metrics, and it provides a satisfactory correlation with subjective scores, which shows effectiveness in the quality assessment of medical fused images.
Abstract: Recent years have witnessed that the multimodal medical image fusion (MMIF) plays critical roles in clinical diagnostics and treatment. Many MMIF algorithms have been proposed to improve the MMIF images quality. The quality of multimodal medical fused images will significantly affect the results of the clinical diagnosis. However, little work has been designed to evaluate the effectiveness of MMIF algorithms and the quality of MMIF images. To this end, this paper presents a perceptual quality assessment method for MMIF. A MMIF image database (MMIFID) is first built to employ the classical MMIF algorithms, and the subjective experiment is conducted to assess the quality of each fused image. Then, a no-reference objective method is proposed for the perceptual quality evaluation of MMIF images, which uses Pulse Coupled Neural Network (PCNN) in Non-subsampled Contourlet Transform (NSCT). A fused image is decomposed by NSCT into low frequency sub-band (LFS) and high frequency sub-band (HFS). It is used to motivate the PCNN processing, and large firing times are employed to measure LFS and HFS. Finally, two components evaluation results are combined to obtain the overall objective quality score. Experimental results based on the MMIFID indicate that our presented method outperforms the existing image fusion quality evaluation metrics, and it provides a satisfactory correlation with subjective scores, which shows effectiveness in the quality assessment of medical fused images.
