The Physics of the B Factories

Adrian John Bevan, +2064 more
TL;DR: The physics of the SLAC and KEK B Factories are described in this paper, with a brief description of the detectors, BaBar and Belle, and data taking related issues.
Journal Article

Intratumoral lymphangiogenesis and lymph node metastasis in head and neck cancer.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors quantitated tumor lymph vessels in archival specimens of head and neck cancer by immunostaining for the recently described lymphatic endothelial marker LYVE-1, the vascular endothelium marker CD34, and the pKi67 proliferation marker, correlating lymph vessel density and proliferation index with clinical and pathological variables.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sugars, signalling, and plant development

TL;DR: This review will focus on more specific roles of sugars in development, and will concentrate on two major areas: (i) cross-talk between sugar and hormonal signalling; and (ii) potential direct developmental effects of sugars.
Journal ArticleDOI

A trehalose metabolic enzyme controls inflorescence architecture in maize

TL;DR: It is proposed that RA3 regulates inflorescence branching by modification of a sugar signal that moves into axillary meristems, and the fact thatRA3 acts upstream of RA1 supports a hypothesis that RA2 itself may have a transcriptional regulatory function.
