Search for pair-produced third-generation squarks decaying via charm quarks or in compressed supersymmetric scenarios in pp collisions at √s = 8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2884 more
- 24 Sep 2014 -
TL;DR: In this paper, two different analysis strategies based on monojetlike and c-tagged event selections are carried out to optimize the sensitivity for direct top-squark-pair production in the decay channel to a charm quark and the lightest neutralino.
Journal ArticleDOI

Time-Integrated Neutrino Source Searches with 10 Years of IceCube Data.

M. G. Aartsen, +364 more
TL;DR: The results, all based on searches for a cumulative neutrino signal integrated over the 10 years of available data, motivate further study of these and similar sources, including time-dependent analyses, multimessenger correlations, and the possibility of stronger evidence with coming upgrades to the detector.
Journal ArticleDOI

The contribution of Fermi-2LAC blazars to the diffuse TeV-PeV neutrino flux

M. G. Aartsen, +318 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a likelihood analysis searching for cumulative neutrino emission from blazars in the 2nd Fermi-LAT AGN catalogue (2LAC) using an IceCube neutrinos dataset 2009-12 which was optimised for the detection of individual sources.
Journal ArticleDOI

Flavor Ratio of Astrophysical Neutrinos above 35 TeV in IceCube

M. G. Aartsen, +299 more
TL;DR: A shower-biased sample containing 129 showers and 8 tracks collected in three years from 2010 to 2013 is obtained and consistency with the (fe:fμ:fτ):fτ flavor ratio at Earth commonly expected from the averaged oscillations of neutrinos produced by pion decay in distant astrophysical sources is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for high-mass diboson resonances with boson-tagged jets in proton-proton collisions at √s=8 TeV with the ATLAS detector

Georges Aad, +2885 more
TL;DR: In this article, a search for narrow resonances decaying into WW, WZ, or ZZ boson pairs using 20.3 fb(-1) of proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of root s = TeV recorded with the AT...
